00:00More than 20 members of a group of businessmen were arrested.

00:06The police did not pay them.

00:09The group was introduced as the new government

00:13and they claimed ownership of the entire Philippines.

00:22Who is not afraid of this kind of encounter?

00:25We already got the permit.

00:27Armed with swords and samurai,

00:29members of the Federal Tribal Government of the Philippines, or FTGP,

00:35arrested several establishments in Surigao City on January 24.

00:44The tension escalated when the group raided several stores.

00:49Fight! Fight!

00:53They were introduced as the new government

00:56and they claimed ownership of Surigao del Norte and the entire Philippines.

01:00They had a padlock operation

01:03and they claimed that they cannot operate anymore

01:07because they did not pay the fees to their group.

01:11Almost a month after the illegal padlocking of the establishments,

01:15authorities raided the compound of the group

01:19on the visa of the Warrant of Arrest in the case of User Pressure of Authority.

01:23Twenty-one members of the group were arrested,

01:27including Dato Adlao and Bay Lourdes.

01:30In the arrest of these two leaders, Dato Adlao and Bay Lourdes,

01:36we showed that we have nothing against the government of the Philippines.

01:43The PNP is still in custody awaiting arrest.

01:46They were ordered to be transferred to Surigao City Jail.
