00:00Allah
00:09Welcome to the Assas Foundation.
00:13This is a special edition of Telethon, I'm Dr Syed Imraan Wadood.
00:17It's a new day for the viewers,
00:19but the idea is the same.
00:21The objective is the same.
00:22We have been doing the work of serving people
00:26probably for the past 15 years.
00:28the platform of awareness, this work should be carried forward in a better way.
00:33With this thought, with this aim, we have been coming to you regularly for the past few days
00:39and today we are once again coming to you.
00:42Because this charitable work, today's world demands that it should not be left for a specific day.
00:50This is an ongoing process, this is a continuous work.
00:54So, keeping this thought in mind, keeping this thing in front of us, we have also decided on this.
01:00And you know that the programs continue throughout the year.
01:04There are different segments of awareness, different departments which continue throughout the year.
01:10But we make special arrangements in the month of Ramadan, because two things are attached to it.
01:16Because this is the month in which people have to pay their Zakat.
01:22So, in accordance with this, the charitable capital increases a lot.
01:29So, we try to put it in the right place, to be able to assist people, to be able to guide them.
01:36This is one reason.
01:37The second reason is that the needs of people also increase many times in this month.
01:42If we look at the budget of our house, then in Ramadan, it increases many times.
01:47If not many times, then at least a few percent increase is done in it.
01:52Similarly, the poor and needy people who live in the corners of Pakistan,
01:57for them too, in this blessed month, the expenses increase many times.
02:01So, keeping both these things in mind, keeping both these things in front of us,
02:06it is very necessary that in this blessed month, this charitable work, this charity work, this donation work,
02:13its scope should also be increased.
02:15Its scope should also be expanded.
02:17In this regard, it has been organized today.
02:19These publications have been decorated.
02:21We are appealing to you with different references.
02:23We are appealing to you with reference to water.
02:25We are appealing to you with reference to the construction of mosques.
02:29We are appealing to you with reference to the supply of food.
02:32And we are also appealing to people, fasting people, to fast.
02:38These are the four branches for which we are talking to you especially today.
02:43But other branches are also active, Alhamdulillah.
02:46If you are interested in any of them, then you can also donate in it.
02:51Your contribution can also be included in it.
02:53With reference to these four branches, I am telling you right now,
02:56that if you want clean and sweet water to drink from your side,
03:00because in the programs we have done for the past few days,
03:03it has been added to my knowledge,
03:05that not only water is provided,
03:07but it is also arranged according to the level of need.
03:12For example, if there is no water somewhere, then water should be provided.
03:15If water is being provided somewhere and that water is salty, saline water,
03:20then aeroplanes are being installed to sweeten it.
03:23Then decisions are made according to the need there and that thing is provided.
03:27So if you want that from your side,
03:29in any area of Pakistan, where people do not have access to water easily,
03:34if a small hand pump is installed from your side or from the side of your family,
03:40then you will have to cooperate with just 185 USD.
03:45If you want to make people fast other than water,
03:49now it is up to you that if you want,
03:52then one day you can make one person fast,
03:56you can make arrangements for 40 people, for 50 people, for 100 people.
04:00But the feeling that is appealing to you right now,
04:03is that a group consisting of 50 people has been formed.
04:08And if you want that from your side,
04:1050 people, fasting people should be made to fast,
04:14then for that you will have to cooperate with 200 USD.
04:18I again want to clarify this,
04:21that in these 200 USD,
04:23iftar can be made for 50 people.
04:26But if you cannot give 200 USD,
04:29or if this is not in your plan,
04:31then you can cooperate with 100 USD, 50 USD, 10 USD.
04:35Accordingly, as many people are formed,
04:38they will be made to fast from your side.
04:41If you want that people should be provided with ration,
04:45and this is the department whose need has increased a lot,
04:49and the time has come very close,
04:52and probably 6-7 days are left,
04:54if I am not wrong, yes, in Mahi Ramazan-ul-Mubarak.
04:57So now, the donations that are being received from your side,
05:01which will be received more,
05:03then InshaAllah, we will try immediately,
05:05that before Mahi Ramazan-ul-Mubarak,
05:07or at least,
05:08on the first day of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak,
05:10all these people should be provided with ration,
05:12in terms of Ramazan.
05:14So we need to show a lot of speed in this.
05:17InshaAllah, with your cooperation, people will be provided with ration.
05:20If you want that in any such area of Pakistan,
05:23in which most of the areas are concentrated on villages,
05:28in those areas, it is very much needed.
05:31So if you want that in any such area, a mosque should be built,
05:36then you will have to cooperate with 9,500 USD.
05:419,500 USD.
05:43In Pakistani Rupees, it will be around 26-28 lakhs.
05:50So this is a very small amount.
05:52It is difficult to build a house in this.
05:54If this amount is donated from your side,
05:56and a mosque is built,
05:58then you know that, InshaAllah,
06:00as long as this mosque is present,
06:02people will continue to worship here,
06:04will continue to do Zikr-ul-Azkar,
06:06will continue to recite the Holy Quran,
06:08will continue to get education,
06:10will continue to solve the issues of the community,
06:12children get education,
06:14people get a chance to know about each other's problems,
06:17in villages, in mosques.
06:20So a lot of good and pious works are possible in mosques.
06:24So if a mosque is built on your side,
06:27with 9,500 USD,
06:29then InshaAllah, as long as this mosque is present,
06:31your share will also be included in all the worships.
06:34So these are the four things,
06:36regarding which I have given you in advance.
06:39The details of the bank account are on the screen right now.
06:42The IBA numbers are also available.
06:44You can also transfer money online.
06:46You can also use the Visa and Mastercard services on our website.
06:50You can also send your money to us through those means.
06:54If you want to know more about the transfer of money,
06:58or if you want to know more about the packages,
07:00then the numbers are also available on the screen right now.
07:03The numbers of our studios are also available on the screen.
07:06If you want, then we can also include your live calls in the program.
07:10You can talk to us, we will feel very good.
07:12And especially those people,
07:14who always play their role by moving forward for the sake of humanity,
07:18I will feel very good talking to them.
07:20So right now, the numbers of the studios are coming up on the screen.
07:23You can definitely make calls.
07:25We will talk to you live.
07:27After that, in whichever department you want to donate something,
07:31if you want to donate money, then you can definitely do it.
07:34As you know, we have made the format of the program like this.
07:38In our program, we have a representative with us,
07:42who is on the ground, sees the operations, sees the cases,
07:46manages your donations.
07:48In short, they are enrolled in different departments.
07:51So they can assist you in a much better way.
07:54They can tell you what kind of things are needed,
07:57how the money given by you is spent.
07:59And not only expenses and accounts,
08:01but they also tell us about the feelings.
08:03What is the reaction of the people?
08:05What is the situation of women there?
08:07How do they meet the elders?
08:09How do they pray for them?
08:11They also talk about the happiness of the children.
08:13Then about the men,
08:15the feelings are not usually mentioned.
08:17Their feelings are not understood in that way.
08:19But they tell us that when we go,
08:21they say that if you are giving something,
08:23then try not to let my child know about it.
08:28There are many incidents like this,
08:30which we hear from them.
08:32Even today, we have Syed Fahad Hussain
08:34with us in the program.
08:36We welcome Fahad.
08:38Fahad, how are you?
08:40Alhamdulillah, Doctor.
08:41How is it going, Fahad?
08:43For many days now, we have been doing this,
08:45especially in the fear of Ramadan.
08:47So, how are you seeing the situation there?
08:51Right now, you are not there,
08:53but your representatives or volunteers are there.
08:56How is the drive going?
08:58How is the cooperation of people?
09:00Obviously, we announce some things in the program.
09:02But please tell us about the back-end.
09:04What kind of issues are there?
09:06How is the cooperation of people as compared to last year?
09:08First of all, thank you for inviting us again.
09:11There is good news.
09:13We have started getting calls from our donors.
09:16Okay, very good.
09:17This is the impact of the telethon.
09:19We have been getting calls for the past 3-4 days.
09:21We are being asked that this year,
09:23you are planning to do double iftari.
09:25How much have you done?
09:27How can we cooperate with you?
09:29Very good.
09:30The best impact of your time is that
09:32the donor has realized.
09:34Not only here, but also there,
09:36our brothers and sisters are present.
09:38We have been getting requests from them.
09:40Our local representatives are there.
09:42They tell us about all the things.
09:44Where is the problem?
09:45Where is the need for something?
09:47We have started getting responses from them
09:49that people are waiting for iftari.
09:52For food, water, and mosque.
09:55This is the best thing.
09:57People's interest has developed.
09:59It has always been like this.
10:01Since we announced that
10:03our target is double this year,
10:05to get more than 1 lakh people to do iftari,
10:07their cooperation with us is increasing.
10:10In fact, their interest is increasing.
10:12We have been getting calls from people
10:14for the past 3-4 days.
10:15They are saying that
10:16they will try to cooperate more than last year.
10:20So, people have set targets for themselves.
10:23Of course.
10:24They are doing it with happiness.
10:26They are not doing it out of compulsion.
10:28Obviously, no one can force them.
10:30They are doing it out of duty.
10:31They are doing it out of faith.
10:33The importance of fasting is everywhere.
10:35People know that
10:37people cannot do iftari there.
10:39If you feel it on yourself,
10:41it will come out of your heart
10:43that our brothers and sisters
10:45need the same things as others.
10:48Fahad, can you tell us about the comparative analysis?
10:51Last year, 8 days were left in Ramadanul Mubarak.
10:55This year also, 8 days are left.
10:58Is there a calculation like this?
11:00Can you give us a rough calculation?
11:04Last year, one week was left in Ramadanul Mubarak.
11:08We had made so many preparations.
11:10We had received so many donations.
11:12Can you tell us in percentage
11:13that this time it is double,
11:1520% more, 30% more?
11:17Collectively, many people are donating online.
11:20They are sending us through cheques
11:22and also through calls.
11:23These figures are increasing every day.
11:26But the contribution of our donors
11:28is the same as last year.
11:30In fact, it is increasing.
11:32As their contribution is increasing,
11:34the number of our brothers and sisters
11:36is also increasing.
11:37According to this.
11:38Pakistan is a populous country in the world.
11:43In the world, Pakistan is 5th or 6th
11:45in terms of population.
11:47In terms of population growth,
11:49Pakistan is 2nd.
11:51We are already a very populous country.
11:54Our population is around 240 million.
11:58This is probably 6th or 7th in the world.
12:02But the number of population growth
12:04is the second highest in the world.
12:06I think that in poor areas,
12:09where there are no health facilities,
12:11the growth rate of the population
12:13is many times faster
12:15as compared to urban areas.
12:17So, the population is also increasing
12:19and the population of the poor is also increasing.
12:21So, my assumption is correct.
12:23That is why there is more need this year.
12:25See, it is exactly like this.
12:27The problem of population is everywhere.
12:29But you don't have resources there.
12:31If someone falls ill,
12:33he has to travel 10-15 km to reach the city.
12:36There are no basic things in the villages.
12:39You can talk about water, food,
12:41or anything else.
12:43If there are no basic things there,
12:45people will either look to NGOs
12:47to solve their problems,
12:49or they will have to go away from the city.
12:51There are no facilities in the villages
12:53that are available in the city.
12:55So, think about the places
12:57where there are no basic things.
12:59If a person falls ill,
13:01even a small illness like fever
13:03is considered a serious illness.
13:05So, where will people get treatment from?
13:07ASAS arranges a medical camp there.
13:09Free of cost medicines are given.
13:11And the response is very good.
13:13One person gets to know about it,
13:15and the other person gets to know about it.
13:17There, people are waiting for someone's help,
13:19especially from ASAS.
13:21Because ASAS has worked on a large scale
13:23in terms of hand pumps,
13:25iftar, food,
13:27and medical camp.
13:29Okay, Fahad,
13:31since I am also a student of medicine,
13:33I can tell you about the medical camp
13:35that I had to go to.
13:37And the condition I saw there
13:39was very bad.
13:41I mean,
13:43there was such a severe
13:45type of unawareness.
13:47And then, obviously,
13:49people's poverty increases,
13:51and hospitals are far away.
13:53And when I was in Sahlab,
13:55probably in 2022,
13:57I had an interior visit.
13:59And the things I experienced there
14:01are still in my mind.
14:03And the children do not have slippers,
14:05because of which the water
14:07had spread all over the place.
14:09They had different types of wounds
14:11in their feet,
14:13which were also sweating,
14:15and they were in a queue.
14:17At that time, we did not even have
14:19such medicines.
14:21All the basic things
14:23that we took for allergies,
14:25fever,
14:27paracetamol,
14:29omeprazole,
14:31because you are working
14:33at an organizational level.
14:35So, obviously,
14:37it will be very good for you there.
14:39During the conversation,
14:41you were saying that
14:43if we think about ourselves,
14:45when we fast,
14:47and it is evening,
14:49even though the fast is relatively easy,
14:51but still, when it is time for Iftar,
14:53if we have done a little hard work
14:55in the day,
14:57then 30 minutes before Iftar,
14:59we feel very weak.
15:01We feel very weak.
15:03We feel very weak.
15:05These are the people
15:07who have to fast
15:09for the whole year.
15:11Even in the rest of the days,
15:13their situation is such
15:15that they can only eat
15:17once a day,
15:19and they do not get food
15:21for the rest of the time.
15:23And in fact, this is the purpose
15:25of Ramadan.
15:27So that we can feel
15:29the hunger of others,
15:31the worries of others.
15:33And keeping this in mind,
15:35we practice in Ramadan.
15:37And then obviously,
15:39we understand this thing
15:41and try to do something
15:43for our people.
15:45Fasting and Iftar
15:47is about this.
15:49People are provided with food.
15:51So, what do you see
15:53in the provision of food?
15:55Because we have experienced
15:57that even if food is provided,
15:59there are no cooking utensils.
16:01There are no woods anywhere.
16:03There may be a lot of gas
16:05there.
16:07Do you assist them in this?
16:09Do you help them?
16:11Doctor, you just mentioned
16:13about Iftar.
16:15So, people there want
16:17the duration of Ramadan to increase.
16:19Whether it is 30 days,
16:216 months or a year.
16:23This is the situation there.
16:25We understand two meals a day.
16:27But their emotions
16:29and children's wish is that
16:31this will continue for a year.
16:33So that they get Iftar.
16:35At least, they get food.
16:37What will you say about Iftar?
16:39They get two meals a day.
16:41You can call it dates,
16:43or fruit or juice.
16:45This is a great blessing for them.
16:47We are blessed by Allah.
16:49But still, we do not take advantage
16:51of their needs.
16:53I have already told you that
16:55their needs are very limited.
16:57If you give them two meals a day,
16:59this is a great blessing for them.
17:01This is possible because of you
17:03who are eagerly waiting for this.
17:05Similarly, they are also waiting
17:07for us to come and have Iftar.
17:09What you are saying,
17:11there are no cooking utensils.
17:13There is no sign of gas.
17:15Whatever is there,
17:17there are facilities
17:19for them.
17:21We try our best to facilitate them.
17:23It is not that
17:25if there is no gas,
17:27there is no work.
17:29In the entire interior of Punjab,
17:31South Punjab, Balochistan,
17:33where there is no gas,
17:35people cook food in the same way.
17:37We try our best
17:39to help them with Iftar,
17:41food and ration
17:43so that there is no shortage
17:45of anything.
17:47Similarly, many friends
17:49and our sisters
17:51are also contacting us.
17:53Our sister Akifah Adeen
17:55has contacted us from Canada.
17:57She wants a small handpump
17:59installed on her side.
18:01She has received
18:03a contribution of 185 CAD.
18:05Thank you very much Akifah Adeen
18:07for contacting us from Canada.
18:09God willing, a small handpump
18:11will be installed on your side
18:13in an area of Pakistan
18:15where there is no gas.
18:17Fahad was talking about
18:19the children there
18:21and their wish
18:23that the month of Ramadan
18:25should be prolonged
18:27so that we can
18:29continue to get Iftars.
18:31I remembered a story
18:33which may not be
18:35related to reality.
18:37I read somewhere
18:39that a child died
18:41in a house.
18:43A poor family
18:45was living there.
18:47A child died
18:49and he had
18:516-8 siblings.
18:53As you know,
18:55in the Middle East,
18:57food is sent from other houses
18:59and the stove is not lit there.
19:01After 3-6 days,
19:03a small child
19:05asked his mother
19:07when his second brother
19:09would die.
19:11His mother was shocked
19:13and asked him
19:15what he was saying.
19:17The child replied
19:19that when his elder brother
19:21died, food was sent
19:23from other houses
19:25for 3-4 days.
19:27If he dies,
19:29we will still get food.
19:31This story may not be
19:33related to reality
19:35but such stories
19:37are present in our society.
19:39Many families
19:41and people
19:43are like this.
19:45We cannot imagine
19:47their problems.
19:49This is human nature.
19:51Everything around
19:53them is the same.
19:55Everything looks green.
19:57For example,
19:59if you go to the hospital,
20:01you will feel that
20:03the whole world is sick
20:05and everyone is in trouble.
20:07If you go to the market,
20:09you will feel that
20:11everything is fine.
20:13People are shopping
20:15and buying clothes.
20:17If you go to the market,
20:19you will feel that
20:21everything is fine.
20:23People are shopping
20:25and buying clothes.
20:27If you go to the market,
20:29you will feel that
20:31everything is fine.
20:33People are shopping
20:35and buying clothes.
20:37If you go to the market,
20:39you will feel that
20:41everything is fine.
20:43It depends on the environment
20:45we are in.
20:47We cannot imagine
20:49the situation around us.
20:51We try to tell you
20:53through the camera.
20:55We try to tell you
20:57the reality.
20:59We include people's opinions
21:01in the program
21:03and tell you that
21:05the situation around us
21:07is not just like that.
21:09There is a lot more.
21:11Ravi is not just writing
21:13about peace.
21:15There are a lot of problems
21:17that we cannot imagine.
21:19We need a complete package.
21:21In Ramadan,
21:23there is a lot of religious sentiment.
21:25That is why we are appealing
21:27for the construction of mosques.
21:29Mosques are very important.
21:31The construction of mosques
21:33starts in Ramadan.
21:35There are a lot of areas
21:37where there are no mosques.
21:39We try to get
21:41different types of dishes
21:43but there is no food.
21:45We try to get
21:47the best brand of water
21:49but there is no water.
21:51These are good efforts.
21:53There is nothing wrong with it.
21:55If these efforts are done
21:57with good intentions
21:59then we have the right
22:01to get good food
22:03and water.
22:07There are no mosques
22:09and there is no place
22:11for people to worship.
22:13We are appealing for the construction
22:15of 9,500 USD mosques.
22:17If you want to build a mosque
22:19then you have to pay
22:219,500 USD.
22:23I ask Fahad
22:25how many mosques
22:27are there?
22:29What is the architecture?
22:31How are the mosques built?
22:33How are the mosques built?
22:35Are there four walls?
22:37Are there rooms
22:39for the imam?
22:41Is there an ablution room?
22:43Are there facilities
22:45for people's hygiene?
22:47Is there water
22:49for people's ablution?
22:51Can you tell us
22:53about the imam?
22:55The architecture of the mosque
22:57is similar to that of our cities.
22:59It has a proper boundary wall.
23:01The mosque is about
23:03100 to 130 yards.
23:05About 100 to
23:07180 people can easily
23:09offer their prayers there.
23:11There is an ablution area,
23:13a washroom and an ablution room
23:15for the imam.
23:17There is a special place
23:19for the children
23:21where they learn the Quran.
23:23There is a speaker system
23:25and even a solar system.
23:27There is no electricity there.
23:29To make it easier for people,
23:31there is a solar system
23:33with the mosque.
23:35This is beneficial for people.
23:37A proper mosque
23:39in the shape of a boundary wall
23:41is similar to that
23:43of our cities.
23:45We go to the mosque
23:47and pray there.
23:49You told us
23:51about the solar system
23:53installed there.
23:55Is this also included
23:57in the 9500 USD?
23:59Yes, it is.
24:01The villagers
24:03take care of the mosque
24:05with their contribution.
24:07If anything goes wrong,
24:09they take care of it.
24:11They don't wait for someone
24:13to take care of it.
24:15If there is a problem
24:17with the water,
24:19they solve it
24:21themselves.
24:23The mosque is for them.
24:25It is beneficial for them.
24:27If people come to pray,
24:29they don't face any problem.
24:31This is their contribution
24:33to Allah's house.
24:35It is good that
24:37there is a public-private partnership.
24:39This is a public-to-public partnership.
24:41On one hand,
24:43people are contributing
24:45and the locals are also contributing.
24:47It is good that there is ownership.
24:49Otherwise, if people
24:51come from outside
24:53and destroy the mosque,
24:55they will come back
24:57and rebuild it.
24:59It is good that the locals
25:01are given ownership
25:03and they contribute.
25:05You can see that
25:07the Nasrat Mosque
25:09is being built for 9500 USD.
25:11The solar system is being installed
25:13and water is being arranged.
25:15The Imam and the Muazzin
25:17will be serving the mosque.
25:19There will be cleaning
25:21and people will do it themselves.
25:23In such a small amount,
25:25if an event is held here,
25:27this amount is spent.
25:29If I am not mistaken.
25:31It is less.
25:33The more jaggery you add,
25:35the sweeter it is.
25:37But we see
25:39that 9500 USD is nothing.
25:41This amount is spent
25:43and a mosque is being built
25:45which will be there
25:47for many years
25:49and people will benefit
25:51from it.
25:53This is a very good thing
25:55being done by the Ishaas Foundation.
25:57How many mosques
25:59have you been to?
26:01You have been there
26:03and seen the mosques.
26:05You must have prayed there.
26:07What is the number of prayers?
26:09The mosque is full.
26:11What is the need to make it bigger?
26:13First your personal experience
26:15and then how are the prayers there?
26:17I have been to all the mosques
26:19in Pakistan.
26:21I have been to all the mosques
26:23in Pakistan.
26:25We go for surveys and audits.
26:27When we send pictures to the donors,
26:29before construction,
26:31during construction
26:33and after construction,
26:35a complete report is sent.
26:37The donors suggest a name
26:39for the mosque.
26:41Some people name it Maroomin,
26:43some people name it Sahabi.
26:45People name it in any name.
26:47They keep it very carefully.
26:49Very good.
26:51The number of people,
26:53the interest in the children
26:55or the youth and elders,
26:57the elders come to the mosque
26:59to pray,
27:01the youth and children
27:03have the same interest
27:05as the elders.
27:07I have not seen it forcibly.
27:09There are people
27:11whose children run away
27:13after praying.
27:15They pray there
27:17and after that
27:19they recite the Quran
27:21and leave as Hafiz.
27:23This is the environment
27:25of the village.
27:27What is the number
27:29of worshippers?
27:31What is the capacity
27:33of the mosque?
27:35There are around
27:37100-150 people
27:39who pray there.
27:41Apart from prayer,
27:43there is also Friday prayer.
27:45I have seen
27:47around 60-70 people
27:49present in one prayer.
27:51The mosque is at a distance.
27:53People try to offer
27:55their prayers there.
27:57Whether it is Friday prayer
27:59or any of the five prayers.
28:01A large number of people
28:03pray there.
28:05How do you survey
28:07the people?
28:09How far is the mosque?
28:11Will you not build it
28:13at a distance?
28:15Will you not build it
28:17at a distance?
28:19Will you not build it
28:21at a distance?
28:23Why did you decide
28:25to build the mosque
28:27at a distance?
28:29We try to build the mosque
28:31at a distance.
28:33If we need it,
28:35we will build another mosque
28:37so that people can benefit.
28:39People can reach on time.
28:41There are children
28:43who come to pray in the summer.
28:45They come to read the Quran
28:47and mention Allah.
28:49We have not kept a distance
28:51of 5-6 km.
28:53Our survey team
28:55thinks that it is better
28:57to build it at a distance.
28:59It is better for the people
29:01to reach on time.
29:03We build the mosque
29:05at a distance.
29:07We build the mosque
29:09at a distance.
29:11Have you ever
29:13built a mosque
29:15and a water filtration plant
29:17at the same place?
29:19Have you ever built
29:21a mosque and a water filtration plant
29:23at the same place?
29:25It happens often.
29:27Mosques are built
29:29at a distance.
29:31We need drinking water.
29:33We try to build
29:35a small plant
29:37so that people can get clean water.
29:39We have a tube well
29:41and a hand pump
29:43so that people can use
29:45water and get clean water.
29:47We try to build an RO plant
29:49where water is needed.
29:51We have a tube well
29:53and a hand pump.
29:55People come to our mosque
29:57and perform ablution.
29:59We have an ablution area
30:01and a proper ablution area
30:03where people can perform ablution
30:05and use water.
30:07RO plant is built
30:09at a place where
30:11water is needed.
30:13Allah's house is built
30:15at a place where
30:17water is needed.
30:19This is Allah's nature.
30:21A lot of people are calling
30:23Syed Atiyah
30:25from the USA.
30:27He donated
30:2930 USD.
30:31Syed Akhtar
30:33from the USA
30:35donated 100 USD
30:37for a small hand pump.
30:39It is good
30:41that people donate
30:43even with a small amount.
30:45They can donate
30:47100 USD
30:49or 85 USD
30:51and a hand pump
30:53will be built
30:55for both of us.
30:57Our intentions are
30:59with Allah.
31:01The first hadith
31:03in different books of Hadith
31:05is about intentions.
31:07Allah's actions
31:09are based on intentions.
31:11We have been told
31:13that
31:15if we want
31:17Allah's blessings
31:19the first thing we need
31:21is our intentions.
31:23Allah has given us
31:25intentions and efforts.
31:27Allah decides the outcome.
31:29We don't have the right to decide the outcome.
31:31We have been told to try.
31:33We have been told to work hard.
31:35We have been told to keep our intentions.
31:37In all matters of the world
31:39whether it is personal,
31:41individual,
31:43communal, national
31:45or charitable
31:47the only thing that matters
31:49is our intentions.
31:51According to Allah
31:53this world is like
31:55a small insect.
31:57This world is like that.
31:59This universe is like that.
32:01This is one universe.
32:03There are hundreds of galaxies
32:05in this world
32:07about which
32:09we don't even know.
32:11We might not even know
32:135% of it.
32:15This is a huge galaxy
32:17which has millions of
32:19planets in it.
32:21They are present in different galaxies.
32:23In this huge galaxy
32:25our solar system
32:27which is made up of 8 planets
32:29there is a planet Earth
32:31on which we live.
32:33There are 200 countries,
32:35a country called Pakistan,
32:37hundreds of cities,
32:39many areas in Karachi
32:41and so on.
32:43This is a small part of it.
32:45According to Allah,
32:47it doesn't matter.
32:49If Allah can give it to us
32:51He is not just our Lord.
32:53He is the Lord of those people.
32:55We are being tested by giving.
32:57Those who donate,
32:59those who do charity,
33:01I want them to be thankful
33:03that I have done this charity
33:05that I have paid this zakat.
33:07Otherwise, I could have been
33:09one of the recipients.
33:11If someone tells me that
33:13their father is ill
33:15and they don't have the means
33:17to treat him,
33:19please give some money
33:21so that I can help my father.
33:23But Allah has not kept me in that state.
33:25Allah has kept me among those who give.
33:27We should be thankful
33:29by giving.
33:31If you are thankful,
33:33I will give you more.
33:35There is a way to get more.
33:37The best way to thank Allah
33:39is to serve Him.
33:41Allah says,
33:43who among you
33:45will give me a loan?
33:47People are surprised
33:49that who will give you a loan?
33:51Allah will ask,
33:53I was hungry and you didn't feed me.
33:55I didn't have clothes on me
33:57and you didn't dress me.
33:59People will be surprised
34:01that how can you be hungry
34:03and you don't have clothes on you?
34:05Then Allah will say,
34:07if you had fed them,
34:09if you had dressed them,
34:11you would have been rewarded
34:13in the same way.
34:15Today is the time
34:17that we can prepare.
34:19It is easy for us.
34:21Intelligent people
34:23have a way of living
34:25that they can prepare
34:27in a better way today.
34:29They can spend in the way of Allah.
34:31Allah will give us in His way.
34:33There are four packages
34:35that I have told you today.
34:37There is an appeal for water.
34:39There is an appeal for fasting.
34:41There is an appeal for providing
34:43ration to people.
34:45There is an appeal for building
34:47mosques.
34:49If you want clean and sweet water
34:51to be provided from your side,
34:53you will have to cooperate
34:55for 185 USD.
34:57If you want a mosque to be built
34:59in an area where there is no mosque,
35:01you will have to cooperate
35:03for 10 USD.
35:05If you want people to fast,
35:07you can cooperate for 10 USD.
35:09You can cooperate more than this.
35:11But the package that I am giving you
35:13is for 50 people.
35:15For this, you will have to cooperate
35:17for 200 USD.
35:19If you want people to be provided
35:21the ration of Ramadan Mubarak
35:23to the doorstep of their houses
35:25in Ramadan Mubarak,
35:27in which there is oil,
35:29lentils, gram flour,
35:31and the basic food items,
35:33you will have to cooperate
35:35for 75 USD.
35:37You will have to cooperate
35:39for 75 USD.
35:41This ration will be sufficient
35:43for a family for a month.
35:45You can imagine
35:47how much 75 USD
35:49is in Pakistani Rupees.
35:51It is around 20,000.
35:53If 6 to 8 people go to a buffet restaurant
35:55or to an ala carte,
35:57this is the amount that is spent there.
35:59This will be sufficient for a family
36:01for a month.
