आणंद, गुजरात: शनिवार को अमेरिका में कश्यप प्रमोद पटेल (काश पटेल) ने भगवद्गीता पर हाथ रखकर जांच एजेंसी एफबीआई के डायरेक्टर के रूप में शपथ ली। एफबीआई के नए डायरेक्टर काश पटेल की जड़े गुजरात से जुड़ी हैं। आणंद जिले के भादरण गांव के लोग गर्व महसूस कर रहे हैं क्योंकि यहां से तीन पीढ़ी पूर्व अफ्रीकी देश गए एक परिवार जो बाद में अमेरिका में जाकर बस गया था उसका बेटा काश पटेल आज अमेरिका मे एफ बी आई का प्रमुख बना है। गांव की वंशावली में काश के पूर्वजों का नाम है। हालांकि आज काश के परिजन वहां नहीं रहते मगर उनका समाज वहां रहता है।
