00:00Israel says the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners is delayed until the release of

00:04the next hostages has been assured and without the handover ceremonies which Israel describes

00:09as humiliating.

00:10Saturday was meant to be the largest one-day prisoner release in the Gaza ceasefire first

00:15phase.

00:16For 16 years we have been waiting for this day, hoping for the release of our son, like

00:21the other prisoners and their families.

00:25We keep hoping that it will happen soon.

00:27His suffering today is a continuation of the suffering we've endured over the years of

00:31his imprisonment.

00:40Israel's government didn't respond to questions about the delay in releasing prisoners, but

00:44Palestinians are not giving up.
