00:00Day 1 of living in a camper van in central London while working full time. Well technically today
00:04I'm currently in zone 2. I wake up and first things first I check outside for the Ops aka
00:09the local traffic warden. All clear and I am ravenous so quickly do some oats with chopped
00:14banana and pour out a quick black coffee. People often ask me if it's difficult living in a van
00:19in a city. It is, but not as difficult as paying a grand a month to a property conglomerate based
00:23in Dubai for the pleasure of sharing a flat in Catford. I'm working from the van today so head
00:28out for a quick mental health walk before work starts. The biggest privilege of living in a van
00:32is that my garden can be whichever sight of natural beauty I decide to pull up at. I don't
00:36pay council tax but if I did I'd be fuming. I arrive back just before work to see someone has
00:40driven into my wing mirror. This could be a disaster but luckily I always bring backup.
00:44At this point I'm thinking of naming my right wing mirror Lily Phillips and my left wing mirror
00:48Bonnie Blue because the moment I turn my back there seems to be a queue of people waiting to
00:52smash them. Crisis averted I jump into work. I work through my lunch break like the good little
00:57boy they pay me to be. Done for the day I have a quick tidy up. I do a quick bit of editing but
01:02it's getting dark and chilly so I heat up some leftover spag bol to eat while I watch Severance.
01:07It's the middle of February and it's freezing in the van tonight so time to put on my gym jams and
01:11get under the covers where I can sleep easy knowing I've gone the whole day without making
01:15any landlords richer.
