Liverpool Beatles Museum has unveiled a Children's Peace Wall. The idea follows in the footsteps of a similar rallying call from John Lennon and Yoko Ono back in the ‘60s when, following a massive international billboard campaign, they sent acorns to all world leaders to plant for peace.

00:00A children's peace wall has been unveiled at the Liverpool's Beatles Museum.
00:05Museum ambassador Tim Quinn came up with the idea after becoming increasingly alarmed at calls from politicians to prepare for war.
00:12It occurred to him that few appeared to be suggesting that to prepare for peace would perhaps be a better option.
00:19It was Tim that approached me with regards to doing Liverpool's first peace wall, children for peace.
00:25I thought it was a wonderful idea, a great concept and said to Tim, do it, run with the ball, we're going to back you 100%.
00:33Tim teamed up with the attraction and children's charity Liverpool Heartbeat to mobilise children locally, nationally and internationally to create posters to promote peace.
00:43The posters flooded in from across the world and now adorn the walls of the space dedicated to this permanent exhibition.
00:50We ended up with posters from children in just about every country on the planet, from Ukraine to Russia to North Korea to the USA, Sweden, France, you name it really.
01:04Because all children are saying is let's give peace a chance.
01:07The idea follows in the footsteps of a similar rallying call from John Lennon and Yoko Ono back in 1969.
01:14I'm over the moon and I love the fact that children across the world are using in so many cases the words of John Paul George Ringo to say give peace a chance, all you need is love.
01:26The children's artwork will be compiled and ultimately published by Liverpool Heartbeat in a book that will be sent to every world leader across the globe.
01:36We've done it more to send that message that was started with John and Yoko and if we go further back in history it was started before John and Yoko but we're kind of picking up those reins.
01:47And the reason we're letting children lead the way is because children don't see prejudice, you know, children just get along and the one thing that children definitely don't want is war.
