00:15landed the role solely because of his father's iconic last name. And in response, all he could

00:20do was shed light on the long journey that led him to joining the HBO show. In an interview with

00:25The Sunday Times February 23rd, the actor says of his famous lineage,

00:29quote, I know there are people who will say I only got this role because of who my dad is.

00:34They're not seeing that I've had 10 years of acting classes, put on school plays every week,

00:39worked on my characters for hours on end, or the hundreds of rejected auditions I've been on.

00:44He continues, quote, Of course it's frustrating and you can get boxed in and you think at that

00:49moment, I wish I didn't have my last name, but that's a small moment. Despite the inevitability

00:54of having to forge his own path in Hollywood while stuck in his father's shadow, the 31-year-old

00:59wouldn't change a thing. He tells the outlet, quote, I would never trade my life with anyone.

01:04I'm very fortunate to have the life and family that I have, the parents I have, and the lessons

01:09and values they've instilled in me. He explains, quote, My dad was always a believer that you don't

01:14need to fit into one box, that there are ways to let various worlds collide. His advice is always

01:19on the side of working hard and vision and career. My mom is deeper with her advice,

01:25setting values of respect and kindness and manners, and always finding ways to give back.
