00:00Dan, a two-year deal signed as a manager, that must be a big vote of confidence in what you've done at the club so far.
00:08Yeah, chuffed. The club's got plans that hopefully will transform the whole, I'd say, town, never mind football club.
00:17So to be part of it and try and build on what we've started to build here, I'm chuffed to bits and looking forward to it.
00:26Looking at your first two and a half years, it's been really nothing but progress. The Challenge Cup win, the play-off qualification,
00:32everything that came last year, the title win. You've certainly set yourself a nice platform.
00:37Yeah, sometimes if we're not up there, you feel like you're failing. But one thing I've learned in football is that if you keep demanding from each other
00:49and the club demand from us, we demand from the club. And if everyone's on the same page, I think it's a recipe for success.
00:57So, yeah, I look back on the first couple of years that I've done here and think I've done a decent job and not just on the pitch,
01:05but having the club brought that really together feeling to the club and hopefully it'll continue.
01:13When you look at this season, I think sometimes because of where you are in the league still and the good chance of the play-offs,
01:19it's sometimes easy to forget that this is the club's first ever season at this level. Do you have to keep reminding yourself of that?
01:25I do forget. And it's tough because when you're used to winning, it's so hard to accept that you're going to get beat.
01:36And unfortunately, that's football. So, it's been a learning curve for me. And I'm guessing a lot of the players that we've had here because we've been very successful.
01:48And we've won, I think, probably 70-odd percent of the games, if you look over before we came into this.
01:54So, we have to accept that we were going to lose games. And it's something that I think we've got better at as the season's progressed
02:01because we've bounced back and we're coming up against some very good teams with resources that go well beyond probably this division.
02:11So, I'm really pleased with how we've competed this season. We've still got a chance, but we'll see where we end up.
