Years after she stopped performing, one of Taiwan's most famous Taiwanese opera performers, Yang Li-hua, has taken to the stage once again, this time to meet her fans. Yang is known for mostly playing male roles and rose to fame in the 1960s. Now, at 80 years old, she is meeting both older fans who have watched her opera performances for decades and younger supporters who have the power to continue this tradition.
