KUCHIKAME

KUCHIKAME is a surreal journey through neondrenched alleys and impossible architecture unfolding in a city that exists somewhere between dreams and reality. The story follows an enigmatic narrator who drifts aimlessly uncertain of his origins or destination until he stumbles upon a hidden restaurant. There he watches as others eat engaging in cryptic conversations that seem to hint at something deeper something inescapable. Hes not sure of what to do until the chef places a bowl in front of him this world has its own rules and choices may only ever lead to one inevitable path. Through fragmented storytelling and dreamlike visuals KUCHIKAME explores the fragile connection between food and memory. Each bite unlocks recollections memories that may not even belong to the one experiencing them. As the protagonist navigates this hauntingly surreal world he embarks on a journey through shared consciousness confronting the essence of identity nostalgia and the disintegration of personal history.
