NASA's Lunar Trailblazer satellite launched from Florida and is set to identify where water can be found on the Moon. The lunar surface is often thought to be arid, but previous measurements have proven the presence of water, even in sun-lit areas. Lunar water holds great significance as it could be turned into not only drinking supply but breathable oxygen, and even hydrogen fuel for rockets, possibly making long-term moon bases possible.
