00:30Okay then lads, how much did you enjoy coming and meeting the children today then?
00:51I really enjoyed it because it's my first time in the case and you see how much love they give us, how much they love us, it's not everyone, every case just to see the players like us or something.
01:08Do you enjoy it Enzo?
01:09It's always a pleasure, when we were young we dreamt for that, now we can realise that we are also having a moment of our dreams coming true, to see professional players and stuff.
01:27I mean obviously it's World Book Day, have you lads got a favourite book from when you were a child?
01:30When I was young, Asterix and Obelix, I didn't read much but I just loved Scooby Doo.
01:40Have you read Scooby Doo?
02:00What was it like meeting the players then?
02:02A bit shocking, it was unexpected to see them.
02:06It was good though, are you an SAFC fan?
02:08Are you a big fan?
02:10What's your favourite book that you like to read?
02:13In gym, what was it like for you to meet the players?
02:17Very exciting.
02:19Are you a big SAFC fan?
02:21Did you ask them any questions?
02:23What's your favourite book?
02:25Lord of the Clash of England.
02:29What about yourself, what was it like for you to meet the players?
02:32Really exciting.
02:34Are you an SAFC fan?
02:36What's your favourite book?
02:38Which one, The Chocolate Factory, yeah?
02:40I know there's The Glass Elevator as well isn't there?
02:54Okay then Dania, just give me an overview of what the Foundation's been doing here today on World Book Day.
02:59Yes, so today we've hosted our annual World Book Day event with Seaview Primary School.
03:04They've been doing four workshops.
03:07The first one is a PE session based on Jack and the Beanstalk.
03:10We've done a Samson Hunt around the Beacon where they've been able to meet Samson.
03:15We've had a local author in and we've also had support from Sunderland Uni who've been doing a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory session.
03:22I know you've had a couple of the first team players in as well.
03:25Just how big an inspiration is it for the kids when they see these players come in?
03:28Yes, so as soon as the players come in their faces light up with the children.
03:31From an educational point of view it's so worthwhile the children being able to see that the people they look up to are also doing engaging things such as reading and other education.
04:01Wee!
