02:17While securing maritime transport in the Baltic Sea, Finland has to establish new logistical routes
02:25and secure connections to Europe and beyond.
02:28So should there be any escalation in the Baltic Sea, we need alternative roads.
02:33Also the economic roads as the final purpose is a great motivation to us.

02:51Generally speaking, it's always good to have visions for the future.
02:55But we have to be realistic to these connections.
02:59All of these mentioned connections have massive cost estimates.
03:03And at the moment, we have lots of other needs in our roads, railways and waterways.
03:07And we need to take care of these too.
03:10But for example, the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency will be investigating the needs
03:15and also the risks for developing these international connections.
03:19And this is based on the draft of National Transport System Plan.
