Do good things in life only come to us when we put in the effort?
A girl in a wedding dress ran into Max’s car shop. She looked at him tearfully, quietly said, “Please”, and hid under one of the vehicles. Just a minute later, two men arrived, asking Max if he’d seen a bride around. He calmly said “No” and returned to work. But the thugs were insistent. They pointed at the veil lying on the ground and threatened Max not to lie to them. One of the men pinned Max to the wall and said that if he didn’t bring the girl in 24 hours, they’d “deal” with his business and family.
Max knew he was in danger. But he couldn’t just give the girl up. He agreed to help her. But he made her work for her way out in his car shop.
