00:00Welcome, our dear viewers, to the Arabic and international news.
00:15The American Axios website revealed that President Donald Trump's administration is conducting
00:21unprecedented direct investigations with the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, to release
00:27the U.S. detainees in Gaza and seek a wider agreement to end the war, pointing to the
00:34fact that the United States has not had a direct contact with the movement, which it
00:41has described as a terrorist organization, since 1997.
00:45The newspaper wrote that this happened despite the threats issued by US President Donald
00:53Trump, in which he warned the Hamas movement in what he called the last warning to it to
00:58end the movement if it did not immediately release all the detainees, including the Israelis,
01:04and return the dead to them.
01:08According to the Middle East newspaper, the US officials accused Israel of leaking information
01:15to the media about a possible secret direct negotiations between Trump and Hamas in an
01:21attempt to sabotage the talks, according to the website of the Israeli newspaper Tehranot.
01:30According to the Hebrew report, Israel was not informed of the talks between the United States
01:38and Hamas in advance, as a previous attempt to sign such a contract was canceled after pressure
01:45from Israel.
01:46Therefore, when the United States decided to come to the talks, despite Israel's position,
01:53it decided not to inform the media about it.
01:58The British newspaper The Garden published a report that said that a security unit in
02:03the Israeli army used a set of data from Palestinian communications, which it objected to the
02:10creation of an artificial intelligence tool similar to JPT, which it hopes will make a
02:17transformation in the ability of spying.
02:19The newspaper revealed that the unit was training an artificial intelligence model capable of
02:25understanding Arabic by using a large number of phone and text conversations that were
02:31obtained by scanning the occupied Palestinian lands.
02:37According to scientific sources in the project, the unit began to build a model to create a
02:45sophisticated tool similar to a conversation robot that is able to answer questions about
02:51the people watching them and provide a vision of a huge amount of surveillance data that
02:57they collect.
02:58The American New York Times wrote in an article for writer Thomas Friedman that the strategy
03:06of Trump's team is based on what is known as the term shock and alarm as a fast and
03:12wide-ranging operation to control the US government from several fronts.
03:18The newspaper recalls that it was the first time that this term was heard in a month because
03:24it was the strategy used by George W. Bush's administration in the Iraqi invasion in 2003,
03:31when Dick Cheney, the vice president, expected that the Americans would be welcomed as
03:37liberators.
03:38The writer wondered that if Iraq and the Middle East were quickly shaken by the shock and
03:45alarm, how would that affect the American government?
03:50The writer concluded that what was happening reflected a short-sighted thinking that could
03:56lead to greater losses over the long term.
03:59We have reached the end of this segment.
