00:00Kansas now must stop the bleeding, and that is where I think Kansas has been
00:05great. It's not happened too much, but when Kansas has been at home and in
00:10desperate, desperate need of a victory, I believe they have found it. You look when
00:14they had lost two straight to Creighton and Missouri early season, they came home
00:17against NC State, laid 14 and a half, won by 15, at no point did NC State lead in
00:24that game. And that was an NC State team that was off to a nice little start
00:28early on in the season. You think about how they were not only gonna lay lost at
00:33Utah and drilled by BYU, they could not let anything slip up against Oklahoma
00:38State. I know they're bad. They won that basketball game by 32 points, and I feel
00:43as if we are here again, where Bill Self has to get his guys to step up. They
00:50absolutely must, and at minus three and a half, which is where I played it, I think
00:56Kansas will. I think they will lean on their elite defense. I think Caleb Love
01:00very likely will shoot his team out of this game coming off of a performance
01:06where Arizona scored 113 against ASU. An offensive slip would not surprise me. I
01:13also think there was a lot that went into that rivalry game. We talked about
01:16that earlier on in the week when I believe it was during game time
01:20decisions. I felt that Arizona State could stay inside a big 18 and a half,
01:24and they did just that. I think it's Kansas, Kansas, Kansas, Jayhawk, Jamboree. I like
01:29the Jayhawks. Yeah, I'm on the other side. Here's the thing. We might disagree. We
01:34have to disagree. It's early in the show, but Kansas to me has an identity problem,
01:39and we could talk it through. They've lost four of the last six by 10.3 points
01:43per game. You would look at Kansas, and tell me if I'm wrong, right, at the start
01:47of the year with Bill Self and say, oh, on any given night, this team has the
01:51potential to score 80 or 90, right? With Dickinson in the middle and the
01:56playmakers at the guard position, they could step up on any given night. You
02:00look at the scores. They lose 65-59. Very good. One of the best defensive
02:05teams in Triple-J Houston. Now, they did cover that nine and a half point number
02:09on Wednesday, but they only put up 59 points. Texas Tech, they fail at home. Lay
02:14in three and a half. They only put up 73. They beat Colorado 71-64. You used to
02:20think of Kansas as a higher scoring game, mid-80s on any given night. Now,
02:24they're struggling. On the flip side, you have a team in terms of Arizona that has
02:28lost four of the last seven games, right? They've lost by an average margin of
02:32about 6.4 points per game, but I like Caleb Love. I like Arizona's
02:37athleticism. I agreed with you. I took the 18 and a half with Arizona State
02:41rivalry game. It's very difficult to knock out an opponent by 20-plus,
02:45especially a rivalry. They picked it up in dominating fashion by trailing in the
02:50first half. I just don't. I have more confidence, even though both teams are
02:54reeling. I have more confidence in Arizona. I like Love over any other
03:00player on Kansas, and I think that's the difference for me. His number's 18 and a
03:04half juiced at minus 125 to the under. I think he did that 20-plus, and I think he
03:09breaks out with threes. I took him for four threes at plus 285. Look, I think
03:13that will certainly put Kansas up against it. For me, I think, look, the
03:16Jayhawks have not lived up to their, nowhere near to their expectations
03:20coming into the season. However, they are still an elite defense, and I
03:24think those elite defenses have given Arizona some trouble this season. Let me just
03:29ask, do you see any similarities between Kansas, potentially, and where Kentucky
03:34was at the end of Calipari, a little bit? You know, great coach, great coach,
03:39won a national championship, talent is never the issue, but just can't
03:44seem to find consistency. They're 10-9 in the Big 12.
