00:00Here at the Silver Lake Stadium where Hartlepool United's winless run has been extended to
00:04seven matches following a one-all draw with playoff chasing. Eastleigh Anthony Lundbrich
00:09once again made a number of changes, five this time in Hampshire. Jamie Miner replaced
00:14veteran midfielder Nicky Featherstone, partnering Nathan Sharon for the first time in the engine
00:18room. Top scorer Manny Disarue was restored to the side alongside Adam Campbell and Reyes
00:23Cleary, a surprise omission from the team in midweek. While Dan Dodds lined up at right
00:29wing back, however, his return to the team lasted just eight minutes after he was forced
00:33off with what looked like a hamstring injury, another blow in what's been a really frustrating
00:39couple of years for Dodds when it comes to both form and fitness. Pools were impressive
00:44for the first half an hour and deservedly took the lead through a spectacular strike
00:47from Reyes Cleary, but were pegged back just before halftime when Tyree Shade capitalised
00:52on a string of errors, some uncertain defending by Tom Parks and in particular Billy Sass
00:57Davies before Adam Smith was caught stranded in no man's land after trying to close down
01:03the ball when he never looked like getting there. The second half was pretty stop start,
01:07although it did finish with a bit of a flourish. Pools hit the woodwork twice while Easley
01:12hit the bar through Ben Close. Pools had a couple of chances. Joe Gray went close to
01:18a winner while a combination of Adam Smith and David Ferguson denies Shade a second goal
01:23late on. Pools did at least end a run of four games without a point. There were some
01:29positives but it was ultimately another frustrating afternoon here in Hampshire.
