È apparsa anche sulla copertina del numero di aprile 2008 di Playboy Brasile.Il 7 giugno 2008, Cibele Dorsa subì un grave incidente automobilistico che uccise l'amico che guidava l'auto e le causò gravi ferite. Rimase un mese in ospedale e immobilizzata per altri due mesi. Scrisse un libro intitolato 5:00 da Manhã (che significa 5:00 AM in Italiano ) su questa tragica esperienza. Il titolo è un riferimento all'ora in cui si verificò l'incidente.Dorsa morì il 26 marzo 2011, dopo essersi suicidata gettandosi da una finestra al settimo piano del suo condominio a Morumbi , San Paolo .

She remained in the hospital for a month and was immobilized for another two months. She wrote a book titled 5:00 da Manhã (which means 5:00 AM in English) about this tragic experience.
