Am 9. März 22:00 Uhr deutscher Zeit fand auf der SXSW 2025 in Texas (USA) ein extra Panel für Death Stranding 2 statt. Während dieser speziellen PlayStation Presents sprach Hideo Kojima über die Fortsetzung seines sureallen "Paketboten-Simulator" und präsentierte auch gleich satte 10 Minuten neues Material. Dieser recht lange Pre-Order-Trailer verrät dann auch endlich den Release von Death Stranding 2. Am 26. Juni 2025 erscheint das Spiel auf PS5. Ein 2-tägiger Early Access wird ebenfalls angeboten.
