Tumanggi ang prosecutor ng International Criminal Court na magkomento kung may arrest warrant na para kay dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte kaugnay ng kaniyang drug war. May tiniyak naman ang Palasyo at pakiusap sa mga tagasuporta ng dating pangulo sakaling may ilabas na ngang warrant.

00:00The prosecutor of the International Criminal Court refused to comment if there is an arrest warrant for former President Rodrigo Duterte due to his drug war.

00:11The palace also denied and asked the supporters of the former president if there is a warrant.

00:22In the middle of the night, the International Criminal Court issued a warrant of arrest for former President Rodrigo Duterte.

00:30The Office of the Prosecutor refused to comment.

00:33But the office confirmed that the investigation is still ongoing on the crimes that took place in the Philippines from 2011 to 2019 due to the War on Drugs campaign.

00:43According to Malacanang, there is no official communication from the ICC or International Police or Interpol about this.

00:50But if there is...

00:51Our law enforcement agencies are ready to serve the warrant of arrest because of the request of Interpol.

01:01The government is also ready to stop any chaos that can be caused by serving a warrant of arrest against the former president.

01:09And until now, the palace has talked to its supporters.

01:14We will stop the chaos.

01:16What we will do is to follow the law.

01:19Let's hope that the heads of other countries will be strong to stop this, just like what happened during the arrest of Pastor Kimoloy.

01:30The ICC or Interpol did not receive a warrant of arrest for the former president Duterte.

01:36But they are ready to respond if the Interpol issued a red notice.

01:40If there is a notice, it will be received by the National Central Bureau, which is composed of PNP, Bureau of Immigration and NBI.

01:47All these requests will go through an evaluation.

01:50So we have to see that the Interpol request is a valid request.

01:55And that is the only time that it will be given due course.
