नई दिल्ली: होली के अवसर पर बड़ी संख्या में लोग त्योहार मनाने के लिए अपने घरों की ओर जाते हैं। इनमें पूर्वी और उत्तर भारत की ओर जाने वाले यात्रियों की संख्या सबसे अधिक होती। होली पर उमड़ने वाले यात्रियों की तादाद को देखते हुए रेलवे की तरफ से विशेष इंतजाम किए गए हैं। देश भर में होली के अवसर पर रेलवे द्वारा 1450 स्पेशल ट्रेनें चलाई जा रही हैं। नई दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन, आनंद विहार टर्मिनल समेत पंजाब, महाराष्ट्र और गुजरात के स्टेशनों से भी बड़ी संख्या में होली स्पेशल ट्रेनें संचालित की जा रही है। होली पर यात्रियों की संख्या को संभालने के लिए भी रेलवे की ओर से खास इंताजम किए गए हैं। देश के तमाम बड़े स्टेशनों पर अतिरिक्त होल्डिंग एरिया बनाया गया है। इसके साथ ही यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए अतिरिक्त टिकट काउंटर स्थापित किए गए हैं।
