00:00Eight people were arrested in a separate operation against drugs in the province of Rizal.

00:05And in one of the operations, the drug was found hidden in the candy container.

00:18In this dark place in Barangay Burgosa, Rodriguez, Rizal,

00:21the operatives were cornered by two illegal drug smugglers.

00:26On Thursday night, the Rodriguez Police carried out a drug by bus operation

00:30on the targets that were monitored for a week.

00:33This couple, someone ordered them to take the drugs and their transactions through online.

00:43And then they took it and did not bring it here.

00:47This is our biggest arrest here in Rodriguez within a year.

00:54In 150 grams or more than a million pesos worth,

00:58a drug was confiscated by the police.

01:01Suspects denied that they were partners in illegal drug trading.

01:06The drug is not true to me. I just took it.

01:10I just bought it from an outlet.

01:13I was not involved in illegal drugs that night.

01:27First, two drug personalities were arrested by the police.

01:31The so-called high-value targets, alias Balbal and alias Tap-Tap, were arrested.

01:39When one of the suspects arrested him,

01:42a package of shabu was discovered inside the container of the menthol candy.

01:52The 12 packages of shabu weighed 50 grams and had a standard drug price of P340,000.

02:00It also contained a gun and 10 bullets.

02:03The suspects refused to give their statement.

02:06They were detained in the custodial facility of Angono Municipal Police Station.

02:10We will charge them with illegal possession of firearms and ammunition,

02:15as well as illegal drugs.

02:19They will be charged with comprehensive dangerous drugs Act of 2002.

02:24Three drug-related suspects were arrested in Taytay, Rizal.

02:28The shabu weighed P340,000.

02:33The suspects refused to sell illegal drugs.

02:48A 47-year-old suspect was arrested in Barangay San Jose, Antipolos City.
