Sands Films Music Room planned an ambitious series of five concerts of baroque harpsichord music. The project was a musical tour of Europe with each concert programme linked to a country or region. Not all went as planned and concerts 3 and 4 had to be cancelled; as a result concert 5 is not limited to the Iberian key as announced. All the concerts that took place were broadcast and recorded so that the whole series or 3 concerts can be shared and watched again. Sands Films Music Room continues its policy of providing unconditional access to music: as at the Zimmermannsche Kaffeehaus in Leipzig where JS Bach performed each Friday night, there is no charge. We rely entirely on your donation, feedback and sharing of our work by word of mouth. As more people become aware of The Music Room, the easier it becomes for small contributions to have a meaningful impact.
