While in Apeldoorn for the European Indoor Athletics Championships this past weekend, Seb Coe, who is currently running for election to be IOC President, took time out, not just to meet with senior figures from the sport in Europe, but also to meet with the athletes, coaches and volunteers at The Omnisport arena in this pretty town some 90mins outside of Amsterdam.

00:00We're visiting because we've been sent over by British Athletics.
00:07Well I don't, I don't want to hold you up.
00:10How are you?
00:11Good.
00:12He's running now, the 8th hander.
00:14Yeah, yeah, they're starting now?
00:16No, he's finished.
00:18He's done.
00:20But don't worry, keep warming up.
00:22It's great to be at the European Indoor Championships at Appledawn,
00:25but the moment I never ever want to miss is coming down to the warm-up track
00:29because it gives me an opportunity to chat to the athletes,
00:32chat to the coaches, talk to the teams about their ambitions for the year,
00:37what's going well, what isn't going well.
00:39It's primary information which every federation president needs to lap up,
00:45so I'm delighted to be here.
00:47Everybody seems happy and it's a great facility.
00:49We're with you.
00:50Always.
00:51I've named you Rhys.
00:53A few years ago.
