00:00It just started from the point that we needed a stadium which befitted the stature of Manchester United.
00:06Obviously there's a degree of bias, because I was brought up in Manchester, I've always been a fan of Manchester United,
00:14but I think it is the greatest football club in the world, it's certainly the most well-known football club in the world,
00:18and it needs a stadium of that stature I think.
00:21Well I hope it's obviously a fabulous stadium and a focal point for one of the biggest sporting properties on the planet,
00:29but it has to be a catalyst for regeneration, and I know from previous experiences for many, many years,
00:36that if you get it right and you have sport at the focus, at the centre of the community, a lot of other things happen.
00:43You can unlock real potentials around housing, around business, around green space, emissions,
00:50all those sorts of things that make for the regeneration of a community.
