00:00After a warrant was issued by the International Criminal Court or ICC,

00:04former President Rodrigo Duterte was arrested earlier today at the Ninoy Aquino International

00:09Airport Terminal 3. His arrest marks the first time a former Philippine head of state was arrested

00:15through an order by an international tribunal. The International Criminal Police Organization

00:20or Interpol placed Duterte on a red notice alert following the ICC's issuance of the warrant.

00:26He is currently being held at the Villamor Air Base in Manila.

00:41in Pasay City and until this time the situation remains under control.

00:48The entire police force is on guard around the surroundings of Villamor Air Base to ensure

00:52the situation remains peaceful. Based on the report that we got, former President Rodrigo

00:57Duterte remains inside of a plane here on Villamor Air Base after being placed under police custody

01:04earlier this morning. We saw former Executive Secretary Salvador Valdeldea,

01:08former Manila Economic and Cultural Office Chairman Sylvester Rebellio III,

01:14former LTFRB Chairman Martin Delga III, and former National Youth Commission Chairman

01:19Ronald Cardema entered the camp. Senator Christopher Bongo also delivered food which

01:25was received by some of the guards in the camp. As of now, members of the media are still standing

01:30by outside. Around 9.26am Cathay Pacific Airways Flight CX907 landed at Nayia Terminal 3, carrying

01:40the former President from Hong Kong after attending an event for overseas Spino workers.

01:45Upon arrival, the former President was welcomed by senior police officials,

01:49including Philippine National Police Chief General Romel Marvil, and Criminal Investigation and

01:55Detection Group Director Police Major General Nicolas Torre III. Immediately afterward,

02:01the former President was placed under police custody. At around 8pm, there was a bit of

02:07commotion between the supporters of the former President and the police, but it was still

02:11properly handled by the PNP. Based on the recent live stream of Keita Duterte's Instagram,

02:17it showed that CID Director Police General Nicolas Torre III invited the former President

02:23to board the plane and mentioned that she could bring her family, but Duterte declined. Also,

02:28on the last post of Keita Duterte, she said that the former President was put in a plane

02:34and wouldn't say where to go. Charms, meanwhile, as of this time, the last time that we saw the

02:39former President was on a Facebook Live of retired Police General Fillmore Escobar,

02:45and Duterte was in boarding a chartered flight, and according to the people outside here at

02:49Villanueva Air Base, they will stay here overnight. And as of this time, based on the information that

02:55we got, we are expecting that the Vice President, Senator Duterte, is expected to come here to visit
