00:00Hi guys. Good afternoon. I was gonna say good morning. Good afternoon. Welcome to the vlog.
00:27I have had such a busy day today, but such a good day. I've been running around like
00:31a chicken with its head cut off, but we have so much fun stuff on the plan for the rest
00:35of today. So I figured I would grab the vlog camera, start the blog, say hi. Hello. Good
00:40morning. Okay. So this morning I woke up, I worked out, I came back home. I got a little
00:45ready. I put a little makeup on. You guys look at my natural lashes. They're looking
00:48so long with my lash serum. I'm very happy. Got ready, got some work stuff done. I had
00:53therapy. I just got back home from a doctor's appointment and now I'm back. I'm about to
00:57enjoy some lunch. I thought I would share this with you. We have a salmon burger today,
01:02which I really want to make homemade salmon burgers because look how good that looks.
01:07We'll do a little taste test together. Okay. So yes, I am getting some editing done right
01:15now in about an hour or so. We're doing a little mini video shoot here at the house.
01:19We have something very exciting coming up and there's some promo shots for that. So
01:22we're doing that. After that I need to go to Costco because tomorrow I'm doing a very
01:27exciting video, which I think maybe I'll wait to tell you guys exactly what it is, but just
01:32know I'm doing a private chef video, which is a series that I do on my main channel,
01:36which is so much fun. I'm basically somebody's private chef for the whole day or sometimes
01:39I've done like meal prep ones. Like for me, I did a meal prep one and I'm doing someone
01:43who's very, very, very highly requested. So that shoot is tomorrow. I need to prep everything
01:47today. And then tonight we are all getting together to do a little debrief about the
01:51wedding because we haven't seen everybody since being in Jersey. So now that we're all back in LA,
01:56we're all going to meet up tonight and just like have a fun, fun night, you know, get some dinner,
02:00hang out and just like debrief. Cause I love a debrief of like a fun event. Like, you know,
02:04when you go out with your friends the next morning after like the morning debrief,
02:08after like a sleepover after going out is the best. So I can't wait. That's going to be so
02:12fun. But until then, we've got a lot to do. So everybody, five big sips. I'm going to eat,

02:41Hello all. We finished our shoot. Look at this beautiful sky. We are at Costco and we are going
02:46shopping for said video. I am very excited. Let's get to it. I'm hungry too. Maybe I'll get a
02:53chicken. I want a pizza. Costco pizza. We made it in. We are here for actually a hundred percent
02:59groceries, but it's always fun to look. They've got camping gear today. They've got a dinosaur
03:04bookcase. No. Oh wait. I love that. Look at this veranda. I did this in your backyard. I almost
03:08hit that man. I'm so sorry. No, it's so cute. A little pergola if you will. You know what the
03:13Ollie and I always have to check out the squish mallows. That's for sure. We're starting in the
03:18produce section. Look at how big these strawberries are. And for non strawberry season, this is wild.
03:24I'll be getting a lot. I've been on a strawberry kick lately. Oh, we want ginger too. Okay. We're
03:28doing some ginger shots. I got lots of fresh fruit here. We got raspberries, blackberries.
03:34We got Kiwi berries. Look at these. If you slice them open, it's like a little baby Kiwi
03:38perfection for a little morning yogurt bowl. All right. We got lots of fruits and veggies. I know
03:44the burnt ends look good. Oh my God. My finger, like my literal nail beds feel cold from being
03:49in there for so long. Here we go. Bell peppers, bell peppers. These are gorgeous. I'm looking for
03:56some avocados, but these are all literally rock hard. I'm feeling every single avocado in this
04:02entire Costco rock hard. So we're gonna have to go to a second grocery store. Actually I have to
04:06go already since Costco is amazing, but they don't always have everything. So second store it is.
04:11I just saw this leaving the dairy section. I haven't had laughing, the laughing cow.
04:17What are you laughing at? I love laughing cow cheese. So I'm going to get some of this. I love
04:22a meatball. I'm going to do a pack of these chicken meatballs. I guess I can make my own.
04:26Maybe I'll make my own. I am going to get a pack of these chicken breast bites though. These are so good.
04:31My favorite purse. Gonna get my favorite high protein little snack, a shrimp cocktail. This is
04:36what the cart is looking like now. Very healthy, lots of produce, lots of color. I like to see it.
04:42My insides like to see it. Also look at the amount of rotisserie chickens we have down there. We've
04:47got one for Ollie, two for me, one for our private chef video. Love to see it. They have shots here.
04:51I was going to order some from like pressed juice or something, but they're just so much cheaper here.

05:03section. I want to try that. That looks so good. This is like one of my biggest cravings. I know.
05:08Lauren always gets me onto the best snacks. These cheez-its snapped are so yummy. I think these are

06:05the wedding debrief. This is my girl Costco dinner. Two cucumbers and some chicken. Hey,

06:20so much fun. So much that we can't pot about. So this is simply just friend time.

06:33AM. If you can see it is past midnight and I did, I already told them Costco obviously is amazing,
06:39but they don't always have everything. And also some things you don't need like in bulk, bulk,
06:43bulk. So with that being said, I placed a grocery order of the other stuff that we needed to arrive
06:47at Zane's house while we were there, I went out to grab the groceries and someone stole them. So
06:53that's okay. That happens, but I do have to be up in like six hours or so to start getting ready for
06:59this video. And with that being said, I need those groceries. So luckily Ralph's is open until 1 AM.

07:34I love yogurt. So I'm going to try these flavors, strawberry, Kiwi, raspberry, lemon, mango,
07:38and cherry berry. I'm going to get some yellow bananas while we're here. Nice little bunch and

07:51A lot of people are like, how is she Korean? And her parents know Korean and she doesn't speak
07:56Korean. You guys, first off, my parents wanted me to learn as a kid and you can tell the story mom.
08:02Yeah. And you said, no, you were being bratty. I was a brat as a kid. A lot of first generation
08:09kids in general can understand. I'm sure. But I didn't feel comfortable in my culture going up,
08:15especially growing up where I did grow up in orange County, where it was a lot of white kids.
08:19So I didn't really acknowledge being Korean until I got older. And I was like, wait, this is really
08:23cool. But as a kid, my parents really wanted to put Shane and I in Korean lessons. And we're like,
08:27no, no, no. We don't want to learn. Now. I regret it so much. You guys, I'm going to a Korean first
08:33birthday party, which is called it's spelled D O L in English, but it's pronounced. I'm trying
08:41my best. You guys, I'm really trying. And then my mom and I were laughing because I already struggle
08:46with rolling my R's in general. I can't roll my R's. So it just Spanish was really hard for me.
08:51When I learned Spanish, Korean's hard for me because my tongue just doesn't do that. So I'm
08:54trying my best. Okay. Hold on guys. I'm going to talk to my mom. Hello guys. Okay. I'm back.
08:58I saw the dog car seats in the car. I am currently on my way to the birthday party, which is going to
09:04be so much fun today. We have a fun jam pack day. Oh, yesterday I didn't talk to you guys,
09:09but we filmed all day long. We filmed the private chef video. I turned out so, so good. We filmed
09:15that all day. I've got my coffee, which I look forward to drinking all morning. The birthday
09:19party is going to be so, so cute. And then after the birthday party, we're heading over to the
09:23pretty basic studio because we are recording an episode with Bretman today. He's in town and he
09:28wanted to come on and we're like, absolutely. Let's do a weekend recording. We will make it
09:32work for Bretman because obviously he's iconic. So I'm so excited for that. And then tonight,
09:37I believe depending on my energy and how tired I am, because Cal is sick right now and I'm trying
09:42my best to not get sick. I need to be healthy because I have a lot of stuff coming up this
09:46month. We don't have time to be sick. I think we're going to take Bretman to pick a party
09:51because you guys know he and I love our sunnies and we want to go and support Carla and go see
09:56her. So he's been wanting to go see Sal's post about it originally, but it is a little bit of
10:00a trek out of the city, but we will make the trip for Carla because we love her. So we're going to
10:04go. It's going to be so fun and I will keep you guys posted. I'll be at the party soon. And yes,

11:17Hello guys. We made it to the studio. We have a solo episode, just me and one viewer.
11:27Just kidding. Just kidding. Ollie and I got to the studio early because we left the party,
11:32came straight here. Alicia went home to go change. Brett is arriving as we speak. We're about to
11:36record the app, but the party was so fun. I forgot to tell you guys also, I called my mom or when I
11:40called her, I asked her if I had the same Korean tradition birthday party, because I feel like I
11:46would have heard what I chose throughout my whole life. And I was like, I never heard. So I'm sure I
11:49didn't have one. So I called my mom and I asked her why I didn't have one. And my mom let me know
11:52that she really wanted to throw me one, but we had just lost my grandma like very recently before
11:58that. And so it was just a really hard time. So we didn't do one. And then my mom said she didn't
12:02give one to shame because she felt bad that I didn't get one. Basically that's what happened.
12:06But I just have to say, I thought it was such a beautiful tradition and it was such a fun party.
12:11Ollie said he'll throw me one for my 31st, 30 years later. And it was just really cool to see
12:17and just learning more about Korean culture is always so much fun. And I always just feel so
12:22proud and it just is a really cool feeling. So it was really fun to attend. And now we're going to

15:10to scream. Hello guys. Okay, it is the next day. Hello. Yesterday was so much fun. I am gonna be
15:17honest. I am pretty tired today and I think I told you guys this already. Cal is currently sick. He's
15:23just getting over being sick and I am praying, praying, praying, praying that he don't get sick.
15:26I've been trying to drink lots of water. I've been taking my wellness shots. These are the ones that
15:31I got from Costco. My throat is like a little sore, but I'm not sure if it's like me getting
15:35sick or if it's just from me talking a ton lately. I've been talking so much. We've been recording
15:40so many podcasts, which I will tell you why in a second, but these have been helping a lot. This is
15:44the Suja Immunity Turmeric Pineapple Shot. It's really good, honestly, and not too sour or like,
15:51you know, gingery. It's got turmeric, ginger, pineapple, echinacea, cherry, acerola, cherry,
15:58all the things. So here we go. I've had a very slow morning. I've honestly just kind of been
16:05chilling, resting a bit, and now I am getting ready because we're about to go record two
16:10episodes of Be You. We don't normally record on Sundays, but the reasoning for that is very
16:15exciting. By the time that this vlog comes out, you would have already known if you listened to
16:19the Pretty Basic episode, Alicia and I are going back to Asia. Me says my throat hurts, me screams.
16:26I'm so excited. We'll talk about it, but before that, I need to start my coffee intake because
16:32again, we're recording two episodes, so I want to bring the energy. I made my usual
16:40my cookie dough latte that I've been loving. I will say I made it a double. Technically,
16:45it might even be like a quad shot, actually. I used one Nespresso pot, but I ran it twice
16:49just to get, you know, as much bang for my buck out of it. So it's probably closer to a triple
16:54because I do think the second time you run it, it's way less, you know, concentrated. So we'll
16:58call her a triple, but okay, I'm going to put some moisturizer on my skin and my jaw is feeling
17:03a little tight this morning, so I'm going to massage it out while we chit chat. Also, I started
17:10a new skincare product and my skin is definitely like it's purging and I've heard that when you
17:16use it, you get something called the uglies with it where your skin's just like it's peeling,
17:20it's purging, it's getting used to the product, but you need to stick with it to get the benefits
17:25of it. Like you will pass through eventually, but you do have to stick with it. A lot of people
17:29just give up on it and then you don't get the benefits or like the results that you want. So
17:33I'm sticking through the uglies. I'm really not feeling too cute right now, but all right,
17:37a little moisturizer, actually my moisturizer from Korea that I got, my Torridan moisturizer.
17:42Speaking of Korea, so Korean Air actually invited Alicia and I to come out to Korea. They're doing
17:49an event, which is really exciting. So they're flying us out to Korea and taking care of us
17:53for a trip out there, which obviously we could not say no to. It's Korea. We had the best trip
17:58ever last May. I can't believe it's been already almost a year. Like that's actually crazy to think
18:02about because that kind of feels like yesterday. So I'm just working through my jaw muscle with
18:06this little acupuncture tool, acupressure tool. I'll link it down below for you guys if you want,
18:11but it helps relieve so much jaw tension. Like you don't even know. So yes. Okay. So we got
18:16invited to go and what's really crazy is my mom actually already had a girl's trip planned to
18:21also go to Korea at pretty much the same time. She was going to be there like a little bit later.
18:26And so what we did and what we're planning is my mom actually is going to fly out and come out a
18:31little early and be with us. She's going to be our tour guide again. We'll get to make new memories,
18:36visit new places. There's so many things that my mom wanted to show us in Korea that we didn't get
18:39to in May last year on our last trip. So we're so excited. She's going to come out early,
18:45hang out with us. And then while Alicia and I were talking about it, we're like, if my mom's coming,
18:49we should bring her mom as well and do like a mother daughter trip. And of course,
18:53Ash has to come too, because it's a mother daughter trip. So it's going to be my mom,
18:57me, Alicia, Ash, and then their mom. We're going to Korea. And then we were like, well,
19:02if we're going to Korea, Alicia really wants to go obviously see her family that's in Japan also.
19:06And I was like, uh, I won't say no to a trip in Japan. So we're doing a big Asia trip together.
19:10We're doing Seoul and then we're going to go to Tokyo and then we're going back to Seoul and then
19:14coming back home. So we have so many fun things planned. We are so, so excited. Again, this kind
19:19of came out of nowhere. It's really crazy because I remember last May when we went to Korea and we
19:24got all of our facials and stuff done and my skin was looking so much better. Alicia and I were like,
19:28oh my God, it'd be so cool if we could come back before the wedding and do another round of like
19:32the facial things again, because my skin improved so much from that. But we were like, realistically,
19:37that's not going to happen. I mean, just life is crazy. Schedules are crazy. And then boom,
19:41we got invited to go back and we're like, we got to take it. I am of course going to vlog for you
19:46guys. I'll vlog the whole trip for you guys. And I'll, I'll make as many vlogs as you know,
19:50I can out of the trip, which is going to just be so fun. And I love looking back at those Asia vlogs
19:55with my parents, because those are truly some of the best memories that I've ever made in my life.
20:00And I'm just so excited to go back and be with my mom and of course my best friend. And of course
20:04my best friend's family. But since we are leaving for a good amount of time, we obviously need to
20:08make sure that our work is all squared away before we leave, because obviously we can't leave if our
20:13work is not done. So with that being said, we are pre-recording tons of podcasts before we go. All
20:18of the episodes that need to be done for both podcasts, which is why we've just been so extra
20:22busy. Why I've been talking so much more than usual. Usually this is spread out, but we are
20:28getting it done. I'm realizing I have like so many different shades of easy blur. I have actually
20:32another one here, all of my shades of easy blur, because I'm constantly like between spray tans
20:37and then my winter tan. And then when I get a little tan, changing shades. So I'm trying to make it
20:41work. I realized yesterday my normal shade is a little too dark for me right now. So we're making
20:46it work. With that, I keep telling you guys, this is going to be such a fun year. I have so much fun
20:51content and just trips and things planned and the wedding and just so much happening. It's like,
20:55it's just been such a dream come true. Like I could not be more grateful or excited. And I'm
21:01just, I'm loving it so much. Okay, for now I'm just going to get ready and I will catch you guys very

21:13I will say you missed an earthquake. Oh, first off. Yeah. An earthquake just happened. Also we tried
21:20the $19 Arowana strawberry, which is crazy. Yesterday at Sunday's birthday party, I was
21:27talking to Soy. And so I was like, wait, do you want to try that Arowana strawberry? I was like,
21:31um, sure. She put me in contact with the owner and they delivered me a strawberry. So we all
21:37tried it. I will put that clip in here. Today we're going to compare a 19 cent strawberry
21:41to a $19 strawberry. Oh my God. Is that the $19 Arowana strawberry?
21:51Let's try it. I'm sure we've all seen this online. This is the current viral $19. Imagine a bird
21:58comes and takes them. This is the $19 viral strawberry that you can get at Arowana right now
22:02that is flown in from Kyoto, Japan. You heard me, right? I heard that people are waiting six hours
22:07for this. The whole thing is crazy. I will say, if you didn't know in Japan, culturally fruit is often
22:12given as gifts, like really nice, expensive fruit. It's a really nice gift to give someone. So that
22:17is why this exists. Thank you so much to Ellie Amai because they did send me this strawberry to
22:22try today. And I'm going to give you a taste test and comparison. We have here an American
22:28strawberry that is pretty much the same size. This is from Costco and it's not strawberry season,
22:33I will say. I mean, she looks gorgeous, but compared to this little work of art,
22:37let's get into her. Shall we? Okay. We have the big reveal, everybody. We're going to open it.
22:44It does smell delicious. Oh, it actually smells really good. I will say it smells
22:49pretty much like my farmer's market strawberries, which are still more expensive, but not $19.
22:53I'm going to give a very honest review. Right off the bat, obviously the one from Japan
22:58looks like a piece of art as it should for the price. Right off the bat, it smells like a candle.
23:03It smells like a Bath & Body Works candle, honestly. So fragrant. This one, absolutely zero
23:08smell at all. Even just like looking at the seeds, like this is so crazy. Do you see like how perfectly
23:16placed each one is? This one is like the ugly sister. Okay. What should I try first? The good
23:23one or the... The good one. Okay. No, try that. Okay. You want to try my strawberry?
