00:26This means as the country saw a 31% increase in cases last week, bringing the total to

00:35Many patients can't be found.
00:37Recently arrived vaccines are running short as supplies can't reach combat zones and hospitals
00:42have been under attack.
00:45The authorities have reportedly started negotiations for a suspension of hostilities to allow for
00:50a humanitarian corridor to bring essential medical supplies into the conflict zone.
00:57Last month the World Health Organization warned that the clade 1b strain of the virus is continuing
01:02to spread globally.
01:05Mpox can be passed on by close contact with anyone with the infection.
