Plenty of great movies ask you to suspend your disbelief to accept a premise that you might otherwise find ridiculous, but some people found the premise of the 2013 dystopian film "The Purge" to just be too much. The film is set in a near-future America where all crime is legal for one night a year, and while this can undeniably lead to some interesting stories and social commentary, not everyone loved the film.
