00:00The King of Greatness, The Creator of Life, The Spirit of Mecca, Medina,
00:09He makes man into a human being.
00:20Viewers, welcome to Ilm-ul-Alama.
00:22We are here once again and you know that this is a very popular segment
00:28where scholars come and talk about our topic in a wonderful way
00:35in the light of Waqf-e-Mutalaq and the light of Quran and Hadith.
00:38I think that this segment is very popular in western countries
00:44because when you are watching this transmission with great attention.
00:50So today's topic is Divine Love.
00:54We think of everything as wealth.
00:57We think of our children, wealth, money and health as wealth.
01:04We think of all these things as wealth and we love them.
01:08But the real love is the love of Allah.
01:11The love that we should have for the believers.
01:15But all the love for worldly things is limited to worldly things.
01:19But the real love for us is the love of Allah.
01:25We will talk about this today.
01:27Listen to this topic carefully.
01:29You will benefit a lot.
01:31And if you include this lesson in your life,
01:35then you will see its benefits in this world and in the hereafter.
01:38Qibla Mufti Muhammad Akmal Madani Sahib.
01:41He comes and talks in a very beautiful way.
01:45He gives his comments in this program.
01:47Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu.
01:51And with him is Mumtaz-e-Maruf Alimuddin Allama Liaqat Hussain Azari Sahib.
01:56He is a very beautiful personality.
01:58And he says very beautiful words.
02:00Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu.
02:03And with him is Mumtaz-e-Maruf Alimuddin Allama Hafiz Huwais Ahmad Sahib.
02:08He is your well-wisher.
02:09Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu.
02:12Please come to my left.
02:14All four of you.
02:16Ali Shabbir, Tasadduk Rasool.
02:18All of you.
02:19Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu.
02:21Respected viewers,
02:22As I said, this is our topic.
02:25If we understand the importance of the love of Allah from the beginning,
02:29and if this foundation settles in our mind,
02:32then all the questions related to this,
02:34the questions that are knocking on our door,
02:36InshaAllah,
02:37you will get their answers as well.
02:39And we will draw those questions as well,
02:41which we will get from your answers.
02:43Qibla Mufti Sahib, what will you say?
02:45What will you say on the importance and significance of the love of Allah?
02:49I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
02:51In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
02:53This is a very important topic.
02:55And I wish this would become a topic in our homes as well.
03:00That we discuss Allah's love independently,
03:05make efforts for it,
03:07attain it,
03:08create its signs within us,
03:10and die in such a state,
03:12that Allah loves His Messenger the most.
03:16Love is the name of the attraction of the heart.
03:21When the heart is attracted to someone with love,
03:24then it is called love.
03:26If there is a little love, then it is called love.
03:28It happens with animals as well.
03:30We do not call it love in our language.
03:32But if there is a little more, then it is called love.
03:34And when there is a lot of intensity in it,
03:36that generally,
03:38when a person is out of control of his nature,
03:42then it is called love.
03:46So, first there is love,
03:50then there is affection,
03:52and then it reaches the level of love.
03:54I wish these were the levels for Allah and His Messenger,
03:57and for us as well.
03:58And as far as its importance is concerned,
04:00the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
04:02said in the narration of Bukhari,
04:04There are three qualities in which
04:07one will find the sweetness of faith.
04:12The first is that
04:14Allah and His Messenger will be more beloved to him than anything else.
04:25This means that Allah loves His Messenger the most.
04:30Then we will find the sweetness of faith.
04:33How do we say the sweetness of faith?
04:35Scholars have made various interpretations of it.
04:37One of them is that
04:39a person will feel lightness due to faith.
04:42He will find pleasure in worship.
04:44God forbid, if something goes wrong,
04:47then due to the fear of God and the fear of the hereafter,
04:50he will immediately turn to repentance.
04:52And he will keep himself in the list of the righteous.
04:55Similarly, when the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him,
04:58wanted to send different companions in the battle of Khaibar,
05:02but the victory was not being achieved,
05:04then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said,
05:06Tomorrow I will give such a person a flag,
05:09who will be loved by Allah and His Messenger,
05:13and Allah and His Messenger will love him.
05:16Now, Hazrat Ali, may Allah be pleased with him,
05:19had many other qualities,
05:21but the government specifically mentioned this quality,
05:24that because of this quality,
05:26he became the owner of this position,
05:29and Allah, peace and blessings be upon him,
05:31will give him victory.
05:33Therefore, the love of Allah is a very important thing.
05:37But as I said,
05:39we don't have a special discussion on this.
05:43We have kept it in the context.
05:46We say that the love of the Messenger,
05:48the love of Allah,
05:49when we talk about the love of the government,
05:51we also talk about the love of Allah.
05:53This is absolutely correct,
05:54that the love of Allah is the love of the Messenger,
05:56the love of the Messenger is the love of Allah.
05:58There is no denial of this.
05:59There are no two separate things.
06:01But when these qualities are separate,
06:03then the thing that is attached to them,
06:05will also be a little different.
06:07Its requirements will be different.
06:09Just like the monotheism and the Prophethood are different.
06:11In the same way,
06:12we should talk about the love of Allah,
06:15in particular,
06:16by removing everything,
06:18and we should look at the matters of progress,
06:22we should feel the deficit and the loss,
06:24if there is,
06:25and we should try to end it.
06:28And we have put this in the account of others,
06:30that they will talk about the love of Allah,
06:32and we will talk about the love of the Messenger.
06:34This is a very good thing.
06:35Mufti Sahib has said a wonderful thing,
06:37that particularly,
06:38specifically,
06:39we should talk about the love of Allah,
06:42what are its qualities,
06:43what are its requirements,
06:44how is its mention in the Holy Quran.
06:46Now, when we talk about the mention of Allah,
06:48people say,
06:49where is it written?
06:50This is a big question.
06:51Every ignorant person says this,
06:53where is it written?
06:54So, in the Holy Quran,
06:55the commandments of the love of Allah,
06:57I would like to request Allama Ilyaqat Hussain Azari,
06:59to explain this.
07:01In the name of Allah,
07:02Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
07:03Thank you very much,
07:04Respected President Ahmed.
07:05In a very beautiful way,
07:07the praise of love,
07:08and the levels of it,
07:10that Mufti Sahib has explained.
07:13See, in the Holy Quran,
07:14Furqan-e-Hameed,
07:15may Allah bless him and grant him peace,
07:16Allah has said,
07:17that the disbelievers love their idols,
07:21and love other things,
07:23and those who have faith,
07:25and those who believe,
07:26love Allah more than anything else.
07:29They love Allah,
07:30more than anything else.
07:34See,
07:35about love,
07:36keep in mind that,
07:37there are loves for other things as well.
07:40A person loves his children,
07:42a person loves money and wealth,
07:45and these loves of a person,
07:47are also in the nature of a person,
07:49by Allah.
07:50There are some loves,
07:51that Allah has Himself kept,
07:52to run this system of life.
08:00But see the beauty of Islam,
08:02that Allah has not said,
08:03that because of loving these things,
08:05you will become a disbeliever.
08:06You will leave the religion of Islam.
08:08If you love the world,
08:09love money,
08:10love your children,
08:11love your family.
08:13Yes,
08:14His category has been stated,
08:15that the greatest love,
08:18should be from Allah and His Messenger.
08:20Wow!
08:21In Surah Tawbah,
08:22Allah has mentioned all these things.
08:42Allah says,
08:43that if there is more love than these things,
08:45and if there is less love than Allah and His Messenger,
08:47then wait for the punishment of Allah.
08:50Yes,
08:51there is love for these things,
08:52a natural love.
08:53A person loves his children,
08:55loves his family.
08:56A person loves his home.
09:00A person loves the brick,
09:02that is laid by a person.
09:06A person loves his business.
09:09And Allah has given this love.
09:12But He said,
09:13that if this is not the case,
09:14how will this be known?
09:16Ask anyone,
09:17that tell me,
09:18do you love Allah and His Messenger,
09:19or do you love your family,
09:20money and children?
09:21No,
09:22I love Allah and His Messenger,
09:23more than anyone else.
09:24But this will be known,
09:25when there is a clash of interests.
09:27Then it will be known,
09:28what is your preference.
09:29Yes,
09:30what is your love.
09:35You have seen,
09:36that person,
09:37who has made his own desires,
09:38his own God.
09:39Now,
09:40it will be known,
09:41that on one side,
09:42you have Allah's command,
09:43Allah's Messenger's command,
09:44and on the other side,
09:45you have your own desires.
09:47So,
09:48if this is the case,
09:49then it is forbidden.
09:50Otherwise,
09:51it is said,
09:52that a person loves these things,
09:54but the peak of his love should be,
09:56more than anything else.
10:00It is said,
10:01that if he has love,
10:02then it should be for Allah.
10:03If he is angry with someone,
10:04then it should be for Allah.
10:05If he wants to meet someone,
10:06then it should be for Allah.
10:07If he wants to separate from someone,
10:08then it should be for Allah.
10:09These saints,
10:11whom Allah has given,
10:13such a high rank,
10:15the reason for this is,
10:16that he used to do everything,
10:18he used to do business,
10:19he had children,
10:20he had a house,
10:21he had everything.
10:22But,
10:23the fundamental thing was,
10:24that all of his things,
10:25were subordinate,
10:26and most of all,
10:27they were with Allah.
10:29If there was anything,
10:30in front of Allah's commands,
10:32or in front of Allah's love,
10:34then he would remove it.
10:36He would finish it.
10:37That is why Allah,
10:38gave him this rank,
10:39and this status.
10:41He used to spend too,
10:42so for Allah,
10:43for Allah,
10:49He said,
10:50there is no gratitude,
10:51there is no thanks,
10:52there is nothing else,
10:53just for the pleasure of Allah.
10:57Sayyiduna Siddiq Akbar,
10:58may Allah be pleased with him,
10:59when he freed the slaves,
11:00he said,
11:01there must be a reason,
11:02that Siddiq is doing this.
11:03Then Allah,
11:04revealed a verse,
11:05and said,
11:06there is no favor of my Siddiq,
11:08he just wants to please Allah.
11:10Allah is saying.
11:11Allah is saying.
11:12When this situation,
11:13came to be,
11:14then he reached,
11:15the status of Siddiq Akbar,
11:17the status of the best of the prophets,
11:19the best of the human worshipers,
11:20the status of the best of the prophets.
11:22So the more your love,
11:24increases with Allah,
11:26the more your closeness,
11:28increases.
11:29He said,
11:30every person claims,
11:31that I love Allah,
11:32I love Allah.
11:33Allah said,
11:34Habib,
11:35tell me,
11:36say,
11:37if you love Allah,
11:38then follow me,
11:39Allah loves you.
11:40Allah said,
11:41if you really love Allah,
11:43then there should be a result.
11:45Allah said,
11:46follow my Habib.
11:48Allah said,
11:49if you follow him,
11:50then Allah will love you.
11:53Muthu Sahib Qibla,
11:54read a pure hadith,
11:55that this is the status of perfection.
11:57We claim,
11:58that we love Allah,
11:59but Allah said,
12:00love from there.
12:01Allah said,
12:02we love you.
12:04Allah said,
12:05this will happen,
12:06if you follow Habib.
12:08Allah said,
12:09the straight path,
12:10is the city of intercession.
12:39Stay with us after the break.
13:09Today,
13:10the topic is love of Allah.
13:11Allama Liaqat Hussain Azari Sahib,
13:13Qibla Mufti Muhammad Akbar Madani Sahib,
13:15in the initial segment,
13:16gave very good answers.
13:17And now,
13:18we are moving towards
13:19Allama Hafiz Uwais Ahmad Sahib.
13:21The question that arises in the human mind,
13:23is that,
13:24why should we love Allah?
13:27This is also a question that arises in the human mind.
13:30Why should we?
13:31And,
13:32what are its claims?
13:33With regards to this,
13:34Allama Sahib,
13:35what will you say?
13:36I would like to shed some light on this.
13:38This is a very good question.
13:39Why should we love Allah?
13:41The love of Allah,
13:43is a psychological peace for a human being.
13:46It is the food of his heart.
13:48It is the light of his intellect.
13:50And,
13:51for a human being,
13:52it is the food of his pure heart.
13:54And,
13:55why should a human being,
13:56not love Allah?
13:58Because,
13:59He is its creator.
14:00He is its owner.
14:02He is the one who nurtures it.
14:04He is the one who grants it sustenance.
14:07He is the one who grants it sustenance.
14:10And,
14:11by granting it sustenance,
14:12He says,
14:16that you cannot count the sustenance that Allah has granted you.
14:20No doubt.
14:21And,
14:25He has completed the physical and the spiritual sustenance on you.
14:29And,
14:35He is the One who created you.
14:37And,
14:41He is the One who nurtures you.
14:43So,
14:44if a human being,
14:45keeps pondering,
14:46about the attributes of Allah,
14:49then,
14:50surely,
14:51this is one of the claims of love.
14:53And,
14:54for this reason,
14:55a human being should love his Lord.
14:57And,
14:58for a human being,
14:59the love of Allah,
15:00is one of the requirements of his faith.
15:03It is necessary,
15:04that a human being should love his Lord.
15:07And,
15:08this love is so necessary,
15:09that if a human being is devoid of this love,
15:12then,
15:13he does not have any other asset,
15:16no other wealth.
15:18And,
15:19he does not have any other reason to live his life.
15:24Now,
15:25the love of Allah,
15:27for a human being,
15:29if you see,
15:30from different verses of the Holy Quran,
15:33how it is expressed,
15:35Allah says,
15:38Allah is a friend of the believers.
15:41So, love is with a friend.
15:43When he is our friend,
15:45then we should love him.
15:47And,
15:48similarly,
15:49for a human being,
15:50the important thing in the love of Allah,
15:54is that,
15:55a human being should not be devoid of this love.
15:58Because,
15:59if a human being is devoid of the love of Allah,
16:02then,
16:03he does not have any other reason to live his life.
16:06In the Holy Quran,
16:07Allah says,
16:13If you are devoid of the love of Allah,
16:15then Allah will bring such a people,
16:17who will love Allah,
16:19and Allah will love them.
16:22Those who are devoid of the love of Allah,
16:24do not have any right to live in this world.
16:27Allah says,
16:28I will bring such a people,
16:30who will love me,
16:31and I will love them.
16:33And,
16:34the basis of this love,
16:36is the knowledge of Allah.
16:38The knowledge of Allah is necessary.
16:41Like,
16:42in the Holy Quran,
16:45that,
16:46the believers love Allah very much.
16:49So,
16:50the interpreters here,
16:51have used the meaning of Aamanu,
16:52with the meaning of knowledge.
16:53The people who are knowledgeable,
16:55they love Allah very much.
16:57What is meant by knowledge?
16:59That is,
17:00a human being is very limited in himself.
17:03Neither can he reach Allah,
17:05nor can he see Allah.
17:07From the perspective of being,
17:09he does not have access to Allah.
17:11But,
17:12when he sees Allah from the perspective of attributes,
17:14then,
17:15he experiences,
17:16that he is in need of his Lord in everything.
17:19So,
17:20he takes a bite of food,
17:22a sip of water,
17:24he takes a breath,
17:26he takes a step,
17:28he holds something in his hand.
17:30That is,
17:31in every moment,
17:32if he ponders,
17:33why is this happening to him?
17:35Then,
17:36he will find Allah,
17:37in all his attributes.
17:39Everywhere.
17:40So,
17:41if he understands this,
17:42this is called knowledge.
17:43That,
17:44my every moment,
17:45is because of Him.
17:46And,
17:47He is giving me,
17:48then,
17:49I am living my life.
17:50If this knowledge is given to a person,
17:52then,
17:53automatically,
17:54he will start loving his God.
17:56And,
17:57it is not just that,
17:58he obeys Allah.
17:59He does what is told to him.
18:01This is also a level of love.
18:03But,
18:04the love that I am talking about,
18:05that,
18:06if a person is given knowledge,
18:07if he is identified,
18:08with the attributes of Allah,
18:09then,
18:10his whole being,
18:11will be immersed in the love of Allah.
18:13His every colour,
18:14the colour of Allah,
18:16The colour of Allah.
18:17Yes.
18:18He will be immersed in the colour of Allah.
18:20Then,
18:21he will find peace in the remembrance of Allah.
18:23The remembrance of Allah,
18:24will become his peace.
18:26Apart from the love of Allah,
18:27for him,
18:28all the loves will become meaningless.
18:30If there is the love of Allah,
18:32then,
18:33there is no meaning of any other love.
18:34If there is no love of Allah,
18:36then,
18:37there is no meaning of any other love.
18:38This is called,
18:39that,
18:40the divine knowledge,
18:41should be attained by a person.
18:42He should continue to connect with his Lord.
18:44And,
18:45he should continue to love his Lord.
18:47So,
18:48it is necessary for every person,
18:50that,
18:51in his life,
18:52for example,
18:53we have small children,
18:54we teach them a lesson,
18:55that,
18:56who created the earth,
18:58and,
18:59who created the sky.
19:00All these questions,
19:01are not of the children.
19:03The children are still learning,
19:05they have an answer.
19:06These are the questions of the elders,
19:08that,
19:09every person is thinking,
19:10that,
19:11who created the earth,
19:12who created the sky,
19:13who am I in need of,
19:14who am I connected to.
19:15Every person should keep this in mind.
19:18The verses of the Quran,
19:19that is why,
19:20sometimes,
19:21they talk about the sky,
19:22sometimes about the earth,
19:23sometimes about the animals,
19:24sometimes,
19:25they talk about thousands of things,
19:26around a person,
19:27so that,
19:28through the attributes of Allah,
19:30that person,
19:31can reach his Lord.
19:33And,
19:34that is why,
19:35the Prophet,
19:36was born,
19:37the Beloved of Allah,
19:38and,
19:39was born,
19:40the Beloved of Allah.
19:41But,
19:42despite this,
19:43he used to say,
19:44O Allah,
19:45I love you,
19:46and I love you,
19:47and I love you,
19:48and I love you,
19:49and I love you,
19:50and I love you,
19:51O Allah,
19:52I need your love.
19:53And,
19:54the one who loves you,
19:55I need his love as well.
19:57And,
19:58I need the love of that action,
20:00which brings me closer to you.
20:02And,
20:03the Prophet,
20:04used to say to Allah,
20:05O Allah,
20:06I love you so much,
20:07that,
20:08I love you more than myself.
20:11And,
20:12I love you more than my family.
20:15And,
20:16a strange sentence,
20:17the Prophet,
20:18used to say,
20:19O Allah,
20:20I love you more than cold water.
20:23Meaning,
20:24when a person is thirsty,
20:25he needs cold water.
20:27He loves cold water so much.
20:29The Prophet,
20:30used to say,
20:31I love you more than that cold water.
20:33This is that state.
20:35In this,
20:36not only the level of obedience,
20:37meaning,
20:38the person,
20:39wherever he sits,
20:40he is filled with the love of Allah.
20:42He should have,
20:43the love of Allah,
20:44in his heart so intense,
20:45that the Quran itself says,
20:47that,
20:48the souls of people,
20:50should be filled with the love of Allah.
20:53Wow,
20:54this earth,
20:55the sky,
20:56birds,
20:57insects,
20:58animals,
20:59the colors of the universe,
21:02and all the things that are seen in the universe.
21:05This is why it has been said,
21:06why don't we think about it?
21:07When we think about it,
21:09we will think about the creator of it.
21:11Then,
21:12we will realize the glory of Allah.
21:14How glorious is Allah.
21:15What an artist,
21:16what a creator,
21:17what a beautiful universe,
21:18He has created.
21:19So,
21:20all these manifestations of nature,
21:21and the manifestation of fitrah,
21:22to ponder over them,
21:23that,
21:24see,
21:25how and who has created it.
21:26When we understand it,
21:28then,
21:29automatically,
21:30love for it will be born.
21:31And,
21:32the love of Allah,
21:33is the aim,
21:34and the desire.
21:35For a believer,
21:36if the love of Allah,
21:37is attained,
21:38then,
21:39God willing,
21:40we will talk more about it.
21:41We are including the words,
21:42all four of us,
21:43together,
21:44will present the words.
22:08Allah Hu Jalla Jalaluhu
