An Army veteran couldn’t believe his eyes when he was photobombed by his best friend military brother he hadn’t seen in nearly a decade. Cody Hinchee, 32, from Huntsville, Alabama, and Dylan McKee, 31, met in 2014 when they were serving together in the U.S. Army. The pair were stationed in Maryland for three years, and during that time their friendship saw them become more like brothers, living together and meeting each other's families. But after their time in the Army came to an end in 2016, Cody and Dylan found it tough to meet in person, due to finances and family commitments taking priority. After Cody lost a close friend in December 2024, his wife, Kayla, said she realized life is too short, and so she wanted to do everything she could to reunite Cody with his best friend. Kayla reached out to Dylan, who is based in Tampa, Florida, and the pair settled on a date in January for him to travel to Huntsville for the big surprise. With Cody not suspecting a thing, the couple headed to Prohibition Rooftop Bar and Grill on January 16, where Dylan secretly arrived in a cab from the airport.
