00:00Question?
00:01Kevin?
00:02Just maybe for 30,000 foot view, as you come up with this election, we have seen history
00:07of Republicans make inroads in the Asian voting bloc.
00:08What do you believe is the message that you all need to send as a unified front heading
00:09into this next election?
00:10Do you think you'll be effective in reversing that force based on what you've seen so far,
00:11what you're talking about here, et cetera?
00:24Sure, KPAC members have been working very hard, not just over this last cycle, but over
00:29many, many cycles over the last few years.
00:33And we will continue to work hard to make sure that we are providing adequate access
00:37to information about our government, about what the Trump administration is doing.
00:44And we want to make sure that materials, when necessary, are provided in language, that
00:50we are meeting voters where they are.
00:52And that's something that we have consistently seen happen more and more in races.
00:57Like in our own backyard, Kevin, with Tom Suozzi's race, where he reversed the assumption
01:04that Asian American voters would trend right.
01:08Tom met voters where they are.
01:10He worked to make sure that they were just as included in his campaign as anyone else.
01:17And similarly to part of what you were asking, a lot of this reaction from Republican voters,
01:24the public, including Asian Americans, has also been organic.
01:28Last week, a group of Republican doctors in my district who supported Trump heavily asked
01:35to meet with me.
01:36A lot of them have offices in my district in Queens.
01:39And they were so upset with a lot of the Medicaid cuts that have been proposed that they were
01:44scared.
01:45And they were up front with me.
01:46They didn't vote for Trump.
01:47I don't even know if they voted for me.
01:50But they were really worried.
01:51So a lot of these efforts, aside from town halls that are happening or not, will be organic
01:56as well.
01:57I just want you to have your hand up so if I can give
