00:17I'm glad to be here.
00:18Tell us all about Paramount's installation here and what you and your team were hoping
00:21to accomplish.
00:22Obviously, whatever it was, very popular.
00:25We're so excited to be here for the third year at South by.
00:29It's actually a great opportunity to bring all the fans, it's a really fan-forward event
00:33to immerse them into the world of all the different franchises that are here, from Yellow
00:38Jackets to Dexter to 1923, so it's been really, really fun to kind of get a touch and feel
00:45for those fans who want to get a little step closer to the content.
00:48Yeah, absolutely.
00:49And why is South by Southwest such a key destination, such a priority for Paramount to reach people
00:53where they are?
00:54Yeah.
00:55We love this event.
00:56I think it combines consumers, it's an industry event as well, so we're kind of like being
01:02able to cross both the entertainment side, the technology side.
01:06It's been great to also bring all of this to a place like this amazing, incredible location
01:12as well.
01:13We just are so happy to be here.
01:15The space of media and this moment of media distribution, you know as well as anyone,
01:20it is chaotic.
01:21I see the tectonic plates are always moving underneath our feet.
01:23Talk to me about how you and your team are always trying to stay ahead and make sure
01:27that you are in a position to be successful as media continues to evolve so rapidly.
01:31Yeah, I mean it's a really great point.
01:33I think what's great about Paramount Plus is, I mean we're here sitting in the live
01:37sports sort of section, right, from the NFL to the Masters and beyond, so we have this
01:42amazing range from live sports to the amazing dramas and so to stay ahead, kids content,
01:47I mean we're really trying to program for the whole household and I think that sort
01:51of sets us apart in this landscape.
01:53Yeah, absolutely.
01:54And finally, what most excites you right now about the moment we're in and how you feel
01:57Paramount is uniquely positioned amidst this crowded space of streamers?
02:02There's a lot of options out there, but I know Paramount is obviously so incredibly
02:05important to so many people.
02:06Yeah, I know it is.
02:07I mean, there are a lot of, like I said, amazing franchises that were already built in this
02:12amazing universe from 1923 and 1883 and beyond, so like the origin story of Yellowstone,
02:18which I'm really excited about, but beyond, you know, these amazing pieces of content,
02:22again, the variety is what's key.
02:25I think that's what's also helpful.
02:26From the kids to the amazing blockbuster movies that come to our service, we really do have
02:32something for everyone.
