00:00These are my clownfish, and this is an anemone.
00:04Anemone, anemone?
00:06Now you might be wondering,
00:07Grant, why are you buying a second one
00:08when you already have one anemone already?
00:10Well, not only have the clownfish not hosted in it,
00:13but it's also a great excuse for me to ruin my bank account.
00:16So make sure you like this video
00:17so I can sustain my V-Buck addiction.
00:19Now the absolute goal, obviously,
00:20like every clownfish owner,
00:22is for them to host inside of the anemone.
00:24I'm not guaranteeing that they will do that
00:26during this video, but I will guarantee you
00:28that we will get a absolute sick anemone.
00:31You know, so I got back from the store.
00:33The trip was supposed to be anemone,
00:34but I ended up spending an extra 40 bucks
00:37of turbosnails, and these are gonna clean all the rocks.
00:39Now I needed to dump all the water down into the sink
00:42that way you get rid of all that nasty water
00:43from the pet store,
00:44because you never want to put pet store water
00:45into your fish tank.
00:47It's time to put these turbosnails into the tank,
00:49where they'll be able to clean all of the glass.
00:50And immediately, as soon as I put them in there,
00:52they started taking off and cleaning everything.
00:55Now with any anemone,
00:56I know you're supposed to drip acclimate them
00:58to make sure the salinity and the temperature matches,
01:00but I don't have a dripper.
01:02So all I used was a little cup
01:04to acclimate them very, very slowly.
01:06And then after about 30 minutes,
01:07I added this bad boy to the tank,
01:09and which was extremely, extremely scary
01:11because this thing almost went down into the rocks
01:13where I would never see it again.
01:15But thankfully when I put it into the tank,
01:17it did not go that way.
01:18And I dove in there head first,
01:20and I put it in this little crevice
01:21because these guys have a foot
01:23and they can actually move themselves.
01:25And this is exactly what it's looking like
01:26for the third day of being in the aquarium.
01:29As you can see, all of the snails are doing great,
01:31except for one.
01:32I don't know what happened to him,
01:33but he just didn't make it, unfortunately.
01:34Every single coral in this aquarium is doing fantastic.
01:39Ever since I started doing water changes every single week,
01:41they've been doing completely way better,
01:43which you would expect if you're keeping coral.
01:47Looking at our anemones,
01:48the one we got a couple of weeks ago is doing amazing,
01:52which I figured was gonna make the other one do great.
01:54And it is looking amazing, the red colors.
01:57Even in the blue light,
01:58it looks actually way better in the blue light.
01:59But have the clownfish gone into the anemone?
02:02No, they have not.
02:04I know, shocker.
02:06But hey, it looks sick in the aquarium,
02:07and maybe one day they will eventually go into it.
02:10But I will definitely give you guys an update
02:11when they definitely do that.
02:12But for now, it would be cool if they went in there.
02:14Thank you guys for watching the end of this video.
