00:00The soldiers played a big role in achieving long-term peace in the country,
00:05as President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. continues to recognize the support of the government to the rebels who are continuing to return home.

00:18President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. promised to advance peace in the country
00:24and to continue to support the rebels who are returning home to the government.
00:54From which we can work and keep the peace, and from which we can work to bring progress to our country.
01:02Under the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program of the government,
01:08the former rebels are being given financial assistance to start a new life and to start a new life.
01:16They are also receiving housing.
01:18Schools, health stations, and farm-to-market roads are being built.
01:24The government is putting power and water lines in areas that were previously affected by the armed groups.
01:31This will give hope and make the government feel that they are not forgetting to help those in need.
01:42The National Amnesty Commission has received applications from former rebels who want to start a new life.
01:53In his visit to Tacloban City, President Marcos led the new members of the local amnesty board
02:02and gave them their important role in using peace.
02:07Now that we have the amnesty board here, there is now a mechanism that is in place
02:14for us to bring back into the fold of the law, into society,
02:19those who have opposed the state for a while, for a good long while.
