00:00Three Filipinos who were victims of torture inside a scam farm in Cambodia were rescued and brought back to the country.

00:13The three Filipinos rescued by the National Bureau of Investigation were brought to Cambodia and worked there as scammers.
00:21This is after receiving information from the agency on the situation of the victims,
00:26including images that show that they were injured.
00:29The NBI authorized the Interagency Council Against Human Trafficking, Bureau of Immigration, and Interpol
00:35to rescue and bring the victims back to the Philippines.
00:38According to NBI Director Jaime Santiago,
00:41the victims were deceived by an online post that allocates jobs as customer service representatives in Thailand
00:48$1,000 US Dollars
01:18$300 US Dollars
01:49To this day, NBI continues to work with these agencies to help the 40 Filipinos who are in Cambodia.
01:57NBI would like to remind that this is not a large sum of money and that it is accredited by government agencies.
