00:30So here we are in Wolverhampton's Lawlessley Stadium, we're here for 2025, the first ever
00:56Kabaddi World Cup to take place in the UK. As you can hear, they've currently got drummers,
01:01which is part of the pre-game show. Today is England vs Hungary, it's going to be a
01:05fantastic match. We've just heard from a few of the important members of the event. It's
01:12absolutely electric in there, people are loving the whole thing. Obviously it's the first
01:15time it's been played in the UK, it's quite a new sport to the UK, but it is extremely
01:19well known in South Asia. So primarily it's a South Asian sport, to begin initiating it
01:24it's going to look like a British ball though, but to those who don't know, it's an extremely
01:29athletic and agility based sport. So as you do watch it, you'll see that the idea is that
01:37one attacking member has to get to the other team's side, they're called Raiders, where
01:42they have to try and tap as many people as they can, and then make it to their own side
01:46where they get the points. The defending side is tackling them, where they all get the points
01:51and return instead. So yeah, we're going to watch the match and see how it goes. It's
01:55played over a couple of days, it's going to be in Wolverhampton, Walsall, it's also going
02:00to be in Coventry as well, and then it's going to end in Wolverhampton again, and then in Birmingham.
