00:11Can you believe we're at the end?
00:12It feels like we've been here so long.
00:15So long.
00:16In the best way.
00:17Yeah, it really has.
00:18And we have so much to sort of summarise and talk to you about, but if you have been following
00:21along, then thank you so much for watching.
00:24We are going to be taking you to Magic Kingdom with us today, half a day.
00:28It's currently 8am.
00:29We've just finished packing up, squidging all our things inside our suitcases.
00:33We're ramming them.
00:35Definitely full today.
00:36We have a multi-pass, lightning lane, and two individual lightning lanes.
00:40So we're going to be covering all that in this video for you.
00:42Just to give you a little bit of a recap, Benji went over to-
00:46Oak Trails, which is at the Magnolia Golf Course.
00:49We just played nine holes of golf.
00:51It was amazing.
00:52The course was immaculate.
00:53We played with three other American, or two Americans and a Canadian guy.
00:57Really fun.
00:58We played with a crocodile, an absolute dinosaur.
01:00It was cool.
01:01Here is some Floridian wildlife for you.
01:04I'm not going to get too close because I'm sure its mumma is around somewhere, but that
01:07is gorgeous.
01:08A wildlife, real one, like you know.
01:09Yeah.
01:10I spent a lot of time in the pro shop because everything was amazing.
01:15Yeah, you really enjoyed it, didn't you?
01:16Yeah.
01:17I mean, while you went shopping-
01:18Yeah, I just popped to Target.
01:19Killed some time.
01:20Came back and we had a lunch at the Riviera.
01:23Yeah.
01:24We still got so many quick service credits to use, so we had a bit of like a piggy bits
01:27kind of lunch.
01:28All tasted really lovely.
01:29We started doing more than one quick service meal, so yeah, we wanted to try things.
01:33Yeah.
01:34Because we just figured, well, also we get a drink included, so obviously we were doing
01:38that.
01:39And then in the evening, we also ate here at Caribbean Beach.
01:41I had the salad and the salmon and-
01:44I had a chicken and rice bowl.
01:45Oh yeah, nice.
01:46And the fish tacos.
01:47The fish tacos were really good actually.
01:49Yeah.
01:50We're watching the Epcot fireworks from the beach at Caribbean Beach.
01:53It's great.
01:54It's so great.
01:55Look at this.

01:57We should have played it.
01:58Well, we didn't know where it was.

02:05So then we did two days, well, a day and a half at Universal, which we absolutely loved,
02:15which you can watch in the last vlog.
02:16And when we came back, we went straight in the pool.
02:19It was the first time actually going in the Caribbean Beach pool, which was really nice.
02:23We didn't film too much.
02:24It was obviously full of kids, but we had a good time.
02:27And then in the evening, we popped at Epcot last night.
02:28We also had lightning lanes yesterday.
02:30Actually the wait times were pretty low, so it wasn't necessary, but we were able to do
02:34living with the land, soaring.
02:37We had dinner at the Mexico Pavilion where we shared nachos and chicken tacos.
02:44And then we went all the way around, saw Adam Jacobs and the original Tarzan at the Broadway
02:51showcase.
02:52Yeah.
02:53Listened to that for a little bit.
02:54And then we went to Japan and tried the chicken katsu curry, which I think we've had before.
02:57That was a five out of five.
02:58I had the chicken and beef teriyaki, which was also really nice.
03:02We had some nice food at Japan, and then we finished with a crepe in France with Remy's
03:07as our final ride of the day.
03:09So that was everything you missed basically.
03:11We did have, we waited for an hour for the Skyliner.
03:14We got on the Skyliner during the fireworks.
03:16We thought it'd be dead because everyone was watching the fireworks.
03:18Yeah.
03:19It took us an hour from joining the queue to getting on the Skyliner.
03:24It was crazy.
03:25It's now 8am.
03:26We are going to be taking all our cases down to Concierge, leaving everything with them,
03:29and we'll be back around one o'clock to pick everything up.
03:31Oh, this weather's going to make some gorgeous pictures today, isn't it?

03:36I am just happy to be here, obviously, but I did just want one castle picture with a
03:40bit of blue sky.
03:41Obviously the first day we were here, it was the same.
03:44Then we went at night.
03:45And yeah, we've been saving this last day to do this, but I'm in blue, so I'm hoping,
03:52I'm manifesting blue, you know?

03:57In we go.
03:58So we've missed our early entry, but it is only just 9am, so we're going to start doing
04:03our lightning lanes.
04:04Okay, so let me quickly run you through our lightning lanes for today.
04:07So I booked two individual lightning lanes, because they have two options here, Seven
04:12Dwarfs Mine Train and Tron, and I also booked a multi-pass, which you can book three attractions,
04:19one from group one, two from group two.
04:22Once you scan into your first one, the groups go away, and it's just a case of booking as
04:27you go.
04:28So we're going to be showing you that.
04:29So this is what we've got.
04:30Three of them are between 9 and 10am.
04:32I don't really know how that's happened, but it is, but that's fine.
04:35We'll just go between them.
04:37Then after Tron, we have Space Mountain and Winnie the Pooh.
04:40So once, essentially, we've tapped into our first one, we can get going.
04:43So although it looks like in the order Snow White and It's a Small World are first, we're
04:47actually going to do Tron first, because you don't want to be darting across the park
04:51to do all these different rides.
04:53So you want to logistically sort of think about where things are based.
04:56We walked through the shops on a morning like this, because it's much quieter than Main
05:01Street.
05:02Busy out there.
05:03Where are the Tapatangs?
05:04I know they're up there, aren't they?
05:05Are they on the stage?
05:06Because it's pretty loud.
05:07They're definitely out.
05:08We've not seen them yet.
05:09Oh, they're on that trolley.

05:32With these lightning lanes, I booked these a week in advance before we came out.
05:38So technically we've had them for like two, three weeks now, right?
05:42And we always knew that Magic Kingdom would be our last park on our last day.
05:45So it made sense.
05:46You've got to say goodbye to the castle.

05:49And we knew we'd be here.
05:50Whereas sometimes we've found lightning lanes to be a bit restrictive of our time.
05:55It hasn't always worked, but I feel like today is the kind of perfect example.
05:59If you know you're definitely going to be in a park-
06:01All day as well.
06:02Yeah, for a certain chunk.
06:03And also start your lightning lanes first thing in the morning.
06:06Because if you start them at like 6 PM and you do an evening, you've got nothing left.
06:10There's just nothing.
06:11There's a lot to work out, but if you're coming out here, don't be too overwhelmed
06:15by it.
06:16You do figure it out as you go.

07:46What allows us to book the next Small World, let's do Small World.

07:52You can see it a bit clearer up close, so pretty round here.
07:55And they'll have the magical friendship fair starting in 20 minutes, which is a really cute show if you've never seen it.

08:05I'm not claiming it's ours, but I think we might have found a new little spot.
08:09So here's the castle, we're on the right-hand side of the castle as you're looking at, I assume it'll be the same over there.
08:15But if you prop your phone, then it takes a rather lovely photo.

08:22But you have to make sure it's obviously empty.

11:20But they just let us on.
11:21And timing-wise, it's a 60-minute wait at half ten.

11:25And this is the wildest ride in the magic forest.

17:42but there's some things we've not seen.

17:46That's so pretty.
17:48I really love this Christmas shop.
17:50There's just so many choices, and you can personalize them,
17:53and here are the prices,
17:55and you do have to give it some time,
17:57so don't leave it to your last day

18:01The problem we're finding, though,
18:03is that so many of them are just so big and heavy,
18:06so, like, they're just too big on the Christmas tree.

18:30but Christmas decoration-wise, there's been nothing.
18:33But we might just pop into the shops as we leave
18:35and see if they have any key rings,

22:21So I think I'm going to build my salmon and Caesar salad combo.
22:25I've really liked the menu here.
22:27There's like a nice variety of chicken,
22:29fish tacos, chicken bowls, grilled platters.
22:34There's like a nice mix.
22:36I like it.
22:37There's a lot of choice, isn't there?
22:38Yeah, Riviera's been nice for slightly nicer things,
22:41but this has also worked for us quite well.
22:43And in case you're wondering how many credits you have left,
22:46in this part of the app,
22:47you go to hotel reservations,
22:49you click on check dining plan.
22:52And then as you can see,
22:53we have three left.
22:54And the reason we only have three
22:55is because we just helped several families in a row.
22:57We had 15 earlier.
23:00We used a few for us
23:01and then we've been helping some families.
23:03So we had 56 issued.
23:05We had two refillable mugs
23:06and we had 28 snacks.
23:08So there you go, there you can see
23:09that's the full extent of the dining plan.
23:10So we've got three left
23:11and we're going to help three more people before we leave.
23:13Here's my lunch.
23:14So I've got the salad,
23:16but I've got salmon on top instead.
23:18The tomato and cucumber on the side,
23:20which I'm going to pour all over.
23:21And then there's some croutons if I want them to
23:23with the bubbles under the sea.
23:25I've had this like four or five times now.

23:27And then I've just got some water
23:28that I'm going to try and drink as well
23:29because you want to stay as hydrated as possible
23:31for a long haul flight.
23:32Ben just got fish tacos and chicken strips.
23:36So like I said,
23:37we let the families behind us just use our credits
23:40and let them order what they wanted.
23:41It's a family of six and then a family of two.
23:44And the second family was like a mom and daughter
23:47and they were doing a resort popping day.
23:49And she said,
23:50oh, can we give you something?
23:51And I was like, oh no, no, no.
23:52Like it's Mickey's money.
23:53These credits, like they're just going to waste.
23:55And she was like, oh no, it's something I've made.
23:57And we were going to pop them around the resort.
23:58I said, oh, we would love that, thank you.
24:00She had made these lovely little heart decorations.

24:06that we were looking for a Christmas decoration
24:08and then we were kindly given this one.
24:10It's got lovely little characters on it
24:13and it's playing on the back.

24:39before we got on Zendore's Mind Train.
24:41I think because a lot of Americans come here for a week.
24:44So when they hear we've been here two weeks,
24:45they're like, two weeks?
24:46And then it gets the conversation going.
24:48It's been really like heartwarming today.
24:50We know you guys like merch as much as we do.
24:52And we're just doing a final swoop through the shop.
24:54Just looked at that little Christmas decoration.
24:56It was very cute, but not as Christmasy as we want.
24:59So we're passing on that.

27:58We've got the lemon cod.
28:00We've got some potatoes and some peas.
28:02This is a little salad, which I like the look of.
28:05Chocolate cake of some description, a strawberry.
28:08Some cheese and grapes, crackers, bread.
28:12You know the drill.
28:13I just popped to the toilet because Ben's
28:15just about to go for a sleep.
28:17And I'm still editing.
28:18I'm going to try and do as much as I can.
28:20I do not care about my sleeping schedule,
28:23my jet lag, whatever.
28:24I'm just going to work as much as possible
28:26until I get tired.
28:27And then I will go to sleep.
28:29But it's very hard to vlog on a plane at night.

28:36But the dinner was really good, really nice.
28:39I loved the potato and the fish.
28:42It was delicious.

29:36There's some all-time classics there, aren't there?
29:38We had a few curdles.
29:39The lodges.

29:41But we wanted to sort of wrap up this video
29:43and just talk about a few of our pros and cons, highs and lows.
29:46Because Disney trips aren't always perfect.
29:48And ultimately, we love it because we're in the magic.
29:52So it doesn't really matter.
29:54There's something that's got to go pretty wrong for us
29:56to not have a great time in Disney.
29:57Yeah.
29:58And also, we now have the value of hindsight.
30:01We can look back over the whole trip straight away, the room.
30:04We were a bit shocked.
30:06Considering, especially the first day,
30:08you know how much you've paid.
30:09And you're like, it doesn't really feel like that value.
30:11It didn't live up to expectations.
30:12But it was fine.
30:13The location was great.
30:15Skyliner, Riviera.
30:17It just worked for us.
30:18We were only over there awake three hours at a time, weren't we?
30:22So it was fine.
30:23We loved the quick service at both resorts.
30:26We used the pool.
30:27We had some great food, actually.
30:29We really loved Sebastian's Bistro at Caribbean Beach.
30:32It was gorgeous.
30:33We've had some bangers.
30:34California grill.
30:35Oh, that was incredible.
30:36Date night dinner.
30:37That's my best US meal.
30:40Yeah, straight in our list of meals that we've loved around the world.
30:43We also really enjoyed Festival of the Arts.
30:45That was a brilliant festival for us because we love the art, obviously.
30:48But the Broadway stuff, the food booths.
30:50It was a really nice festival.
30:52It was very us, wasn't it?
30:53Yeah.
30:54The time of year was really good for us.
30:55We timed it perfectly just before crowds for Spring Break and Easter.
31:00And we missed the marathon weekends and any sort of American holidays.
31:04So that, like, end of January is another hot spot for us.
31:07I didn't think it was going to be that cold again for the first couple of days.
31:09No, I think that was an anomaly.
31:11It was fine.
31:12We dealt with it.
31:13The weather, actually, generally was really nice throughout our trip.
31:16And we also did the Wild Africa Trek.
31:18That was an amazing experience.
31:20So there were some real special things.
31:22But we definitely learned a lot.
31:24And there were things that we felt could be improved.
31:27We did things for the first time.
31:28I did golf on property for the first time, which is something I will definitely be doing again.
31:32And I've had a lot of people reach out and ask about that.
31:35Obviously, it's a popular thing to show people.
31:37We can show that in the future.
31:38If you watched our Universal vlog from the last video, you'll know that we became annual pass holders.
31:42So we will be going back later this year.
31:44We always loved Universal, but I feel like we really, really fell in love with Universal.
31:49And I think we trusted ourselves more and did more.
31:52So we stayed on property, which we hadn't done before.
31:55And then that then brought us into doing more things and making things more cost effective.
31:59So I really enjoyed Universal this time.
32:01Yeah, me too.
32:02We had so much fun there, I think.
32:04Some of the rides were just to greet us.
32:06Somebody might be going there soon.
32:09Yeah, I've just been invited on a crazy last minute opportunity to maybe go back out very, very soon.
32:15To see a rather epic place.
32:17Not Benj though, sadly.
32:19It's fine, you do you.
32:20But yeah, very excited to be covering a little bit of epic.
32:23And again, I think that kind of brings us back to being so grateful.

32:52We obviously don't want to dwell on the cons of things.
32:55But I think areas for improvement for us were certainly Lightning Lanes.
32:58We found that quite difficult to get right.
33:01We were running all over the place for them.
33:03And it either felt like we had a lot on our plate and so much to plan.
33:08Or we didn't plan enough.
33:10And a lot of the rides were down.
33:12We struggled to get on.
33:13A lot of the same ones.
33:14Yeah, things like Spaceship Earth, Space Mountain, Winnie the Pooh, Rock and Roller, Dinosaur.
33:19We didn't get to any of those this trip.
33:21Because every time we went, they were down.
33:23It's just really disappointing, I think.
33:25Especially when we were able to go to each park at least twice.
33:27In terms of food, we had maybe more table services than we planned.
33:32Because we thought it would be more interesting in the vlog.
33:34But then, really, should we have had a table service dining plan?
33:37But one of the things that we obviously didn't love was the quick service credit situation.
33:43Because it's something that you have to pay for that you used to get that you don't anymore.
33:48I think the final thing for me is that Disney is how you make it.
33:52And it's who you go with.
33:53And it's your experience.
33:55And you decide what's important to you.
33:57You'll never do it all.
33:59And we never want to feel like we have to do tons of research to be able to get the maximum out of it.
34:05But it is feeling a bit like that now.
34:07And I can often feel quite overwhelmed on what we should do and where we should book.
34:11And hopefully by watching this vlog series, you've taken something away from it.
34:14That's why I think it's so important that we are always honest.
34:17Whether that's a positive honesty or a negative honesty.
34:20Because then you can base your experience on our experience.
