Donald Trump's push to revoke Hunter and Ashley Biden's Secret Service protection has found some support from an ex-Secret Service agent.

00:00Well, I think it's a good thing because from an optics viewpoint, you know, when you're
00:05talking about paring down the amount of expense and spending in the government via Elon Musk
00:10and Doge, how do you justify the protective details and the taxpayer expense involved
00:16with providing a level of protective detail from the Secret Service to Hunter and Ashley
00:21Biden when there's no threat to support that?
00:24This is incredibly expensive.
00:25I think, though, a better way to look at this is think about the meticulous level of detail
00:30that goes into everything that Donald Trump does.
00:33The better question is, how is it that he was able to turn off the protective detail
00:37for folks like John Bolton and Mike Pompeo, who had significant adverse intelligence threats
00:44directed at them and their families, yet Hunter and Ashley Biden was allowed to slide through?
00:50Which leads me to ask the better question, did President Trump and the White House even
00:54know that this protective detail was turned on?
00:57Somebody needs to ask, when was the president made aware of this?
01:00And I've got to tell you, I think this is one of the inherent problems of the current
01:04leadership of the Secret Service, right?
01:06They were so heavily compromised and so Biden biased.
01:10No one's been reprimanded.
01:12No one's been fired or forced to resign.
01:14It's my personal belief that the leadership of the Secret Service never disclosed to the
01:19current director of the Secret Service, Sean Curran, who was one of President Trump's first
01:24picks, that they were providing a protective detail to Hunter and Ashley Biden.
01:29And how would they have not done that?
01:30I think because they said, you know what, this will be over in six months.
01:33We're not even going to mention it.
01:35And I think that's what happened here.
01:37That number, that's on the low side.
01:38That doesn't reflect the additional assets that are in place from the Secret Service,
01:42such as advance agents, site agents, hotel agents, liaison agents.
01:48So that 32 number for both of those details can easily become 50 or more.
01:54Let's also keep in mind the climate in South Africa.
01:58You're not going to put Hunter and Ashley Biden up in a five-star hotel and the Secret
02:02Service detail is going to be 10 miles down the road at a $49 a night Motel 6.
02:08This is incredibly expensive to maintain the level of protective detail on both Hunter
02:14and Ashley Biden.
02:15Not to mention, I'm sure the two of them are not traveling in coach on Iberia Airlines,
02:20right?
02:21They're traveling probably in business or first class accompanied by the Secret Service.
02:26Once again, this is at the expense of the taxpayer.
