00:00Igan, Comalex has received almost 300 ballot boxes in Mandawi, Cebu, and the election paraphernalia that will be used in the election of 2025.

00:25Yes, Igan, it was at 10am yesterday that the courier truck arrived here in Mandawi City Hall, which was ordered to deliver the election paraphernalia.

00:38The plastic ballot boxes that will be used in the election in May were one by one taken out.

00:44Comalex Mandawi City was the first to supervise the reception of the ballot boxes.

00:50Comalex Mandawi received 270 ballot boxes.

00:54Here, the official ballots will be counted after the voters have voted.

00:59Authorities assured that the election paraphernalia was secured almost two months before the May 12 elections.

01:08We coordinated with the treasurer to help the LGUs.

01:15This is the replacement of the yellow tape.

01:26The battery packs for the automated counting machine or ACM were also delivered yesterday.

01:34The ballot boxes and ACMs will be delivered in different polling precincts a few days before the election.

01:41The ACM will be delivered simultaneously to the treasurer and to the ACME.

01:50They are expected to take care of this.

01:54Last week, there were election paraphernalia that were first delivered to the Mandawi City Treasurer's Office.

02:01These include the non-accountable forms and ballot secrecy folders.

02:12While the election is approaching, the arrival of other shipment of election paraphernalia is expected.

02:18Meanwhile, here in Mandawi City, the area where the ballot boxes were placed is already secured.

02:23It is also expected that other materials will be used in the election in May.
