00:05Musk's PAC, or Political Action Committee, is now offering $100 to Wisconsin voters,
00:10all to sign a petition in opposition to activist judges.
00:13These judges have been key in doing their constitutionally appointed job
00:16of blocking and delaying unconstitutional executive orders,
00:20and actions taken by President Trump and his administration,
00:23an administration that Musk is playing a key role in, despite having never been confirmed by Congress.
00:28This move in Wisconsin is of particular import,
00:31as there is an upcoming election for a seat on the state's Supreme Court.
00:34That election is on April 1st, just days away,
00:37taking place in a swing state that has stood as a bulwark
00:39with regards to ideological divides in the U.S. in recent years.
00:43Those divides include abortion rights,
00:45legislative redistricting and gerrymandering control,
00:48and election laws.
00:49Two of Musk's financially backed groups include the America PAC and Building America's Future,
00:54which have together spent around $20 million in support for Republican Judge Brad Schimel.
00:58In short, the Trump administration is attempting to buy the judicial branch of government,
01:03one of the very bodies of government,
01:04meant to keep the executive branch in check.
