00:00And at this point, we are going to discuss an update on the programs of the current administration here in Mr. President on the go.

00:21First, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. visited and gave a message to the soldiers on the 158th Founding Anniversary of the Philippine Army.

00:33In his speech, the President said that on the occasion of the 128th Anniversary of the founding of the Philippine Army,

00:43he reminded us again why we are serving. This is not for ourselves, but for those who are not yet a generation to come.

00:52The President gave the continued dedication of the Philippine Army, especially in the fight against security threats and the new challenges that the country is facing.

01:05At a time when a soldier's courage and courage is not enough, we need a voice that is not silenced in the face of trials,

01:13a principle that is not shrouded in fear and anxiety,

01:18and a heart that is always ready to serve faithfully and without waiting for an alternative.

01:25Aside from combat duties, the Philippine Army also plays a major role in operations to help victims of calamity,

01:33such as communities affected by the activities of the Taal and Batanlaon Volcanoes.

01:38The President also praised the excellence of the Philippine Army,

01:42particularly their unparalleled performance in the examination of facilities under the General Security of Military Information Agreement.

01:51The President also mentioned that this victory will prove the Philippine Army's commitment to international standards

01:58and their unwavering commitment to protecting the future of our country.

02:04Meanwhile, the President mentioned the issuance of Executive Order No. 84,

02:08which increases the subsistence allowance of all officers and personnel of the Philippine Armed Forces,

02:15a good deed that has long been awaited after a decade of no increase.
