00:00To get out of the Paris agreement, I think it's irresponsible.
00:07In terms of environment, there are many things that we can understand with our intellect.
00:14Limiting global warming to 2°C, we can understand it, it's the numbers we understand.
00:18But there are also many things that exceed us, because it's on a global scale,
00:21and we're not made to reason on a scale that really exceeds the human being.
00:25Numbers from 5 to 0, no one understands what that means anymore.
00:28We're able to calculate with it, but it doesn't really speak to us.
00:31So there are many things that are quite abstract,
00:34and the luck I've had is that this abstract side has become very concrete,
00:38because I've experienced it with my feelings, with my senses,
00:43to see the fragility of the planet.
00:45It's something to understand with your intellect on the ground,
00:47to say, yes, the planet is fragile, be careful.
00:49It's something else to see it and feel it.
00:52And yes, it made me want to encourage people to do more for the environment,
00:56and when I see decisions like the decision of the US President,
00:59we're not going to talk about politics,
01:01but to get out of the Paris Agreement, I think it's irresponsible.
