00:00The House Prosecution Panel called for the impeachment case against Vice President Sara Duterte.

00:07A congressman, VP Sara, who should be in the Philippines when the Senate Impeachment Board is in session,

00:16Mela Lesmuras, was at the center of the news.

00:21Now, even though the local campaign period started yesterday,

00:25the House Prosecution Panel called for the impeachment case against Vice President Sara Duterte

00:34because of the accountability and fund of the people who are involved in this case.

00:40House Deputy Majority Leader Lawrence Defensor, one of the members of the prosecution,

00:46told Vice President Sara Duterte that it's time for her impeachment trial to start in the Philippines.

00:54According to Defensor, she understands the need of the Vice President to stay in the Netherlands for her father,

01:01but she also has an obligation to the country.

01:04The congressman also insisted that there will be a chance for the Vice President to defend herself in the Senate Impeachment Court,

01:13which she did not agree to give to the victims of the war on drugs under the administration of her father.

01:20Even though the local candidates' campaign period will start tomorrow,

01:24along with the candidates for congressman,

01:27the House Prosecution Panel assured that they will continue their efforts in the impeachment.

01:33According to Batangas Second District Representative Gervie Luistro,

01:36another impeachment prosecutor of the Camera,

01:39they will continue their efforts.

01:41All of their steps are legal and they went through the right process.

01:46Well, everything is okay, except I cannot discuss really the detail of what we had during our meeting.

01:57The least I can say, all the prosecutors are working in preparation for our impeachment trial.

02:05So, whether we hold it earlier or as scheduled by the Senate President, the entire prosec team is ready.

02:13Naomi, as part of the ongoing studies conducted by our congressmen here,

02:18as part of the House Prosecution Panel,

02:21the details of the spending of VP Sara on her confidential funds are included in their articles of impeachment.
