00:00You
00:30See, there are a lot of ventilators which are available in Pune and maybe in Bombay.
00:42But considering the condition of India right now, there will be a lot of locations which
00:45are not, maybe tier three cities, tier two, tier three cities where a lot of ventilators
00:49are not available.
00:50Or even if they are available, they are already occupied.
00:53So we have, our objective is to have a portable, which we have already achieved it.
00:57So we have designed a portable ventilator.
01:00So it can be used anywhere and it can even work for some time on a battery backup.
01:27We wanted something which was very user-friendly, which even the persons themselves could operate
01:51it with minimal training and it did not require wall oxygen and wall, you know, compressed
01:57air to make it run.
01:58It could run very frugally on minimum amount of power supply for extended period of time.
02:27In pandemics like this, where we have COVID, the amount of ventilator beds will surge to
02:39unimaginable levels.
02:40So I would say India would require a 10 million plus ventilators if the disease peaks in India.
02:49So 10 million ventilators, then we hardly have 14,000 currently all over India.
