An unrelenting pandemic, floods, and dysfunctional public transport are some of the worries plaguing students who want the JEE/NEET exams to be postponed.

00:00More than 17,000 cases a day.
00:036 Central Ministers have tested positive for COVID-19.
00:07Amit Shah himself tested positive for COVID-19.
00:10UP's Ministers have died.
00:13But these people have no brains.
00:16Two-step social distancing is also important for students.
00:22You cannot force us to go to the exam centre
00:28to give exams in the midst of a COVID-19 pandemic.
00:33We have voted for you.
00:35You have to listen to us.
00:38If you don't listen, you will be fired.
00:42You are doing injustice.
00:44Think for yourself.
01:28The very first thing I would like to say is that
01:39the NT is formulating a lot of SOPs
01:41which aren't working on ground reality.
01:43There is a lot of evidence on social media
01:45that the exams conducted so far,
01:48there is no sanitisation, no thermal screening or social distancing.
01:52Now I would like to say one thing.
01:55NEET and JEE have 25 lakh aspirants all over India.
01:59Including parents who will accompany their children to the exam centre.
02:03They will travel hundreds of kilometres.
02:05They will have to arrange for accommodation like a hotel.
02:09It's not like exam centres are present in every district of India.
02:13That's not practically possible too.
02:15Does this SOP guarantee that every student out of the 25 lakh is safe?
02:22Because if it doesn't, it does violate the right to life.
02:25I am NEET aspirant from Bhagalpur, Bihar.
02:28I checked my centre yesterday.
02:30I have come to Patna.
02:31The distance between Bhagalpur and Patna is about 234 kilometres.
02:34I would like to ask the government a question.
02:36The whole of Bihar is affected by the floods.
02:39There is no transportation facility.
02:41The cases are increasing every day.
02:43We are living in a severe zone.
02:44How will we go, sir?
02:46And even if we go, what will we do?
02:48The people of Bihar or the whole of India will be saved from the pandemic.
02:51There is a disappointing movement going on.
02:54We are in deep depression.
02:55Hi, I am from Manipur.
02:57With no private vehicle to go to Imphal and write my exams.
03:01Many students are like me.
03:03And our government has ordered all the COVID-positive asymptomatic patients to be self-isolated.
03:08It means the hospitals cannot accommodate anymore.
03:11So if we ever get infected, we are going to die in our own homes.
03:15The condition is very worse.
03:16Community transmission is on the verge.
03:18Please save our lives.
03:21Please save our lives.
03:23Please save our lives.
03:24I would like to ask a question to our Education Minister, Mr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishang.
03:51If everything is normal in this pandemic, then why are our parliaments not being opened?
03:55If everything is normal in this pandemic, then why are our Supreme Court hearings being held virtually?
04:00Why are they not being held physically?
04:02Will you give money for treatment?
04:04Do you even know how much fees are there in private hospitals?
04:08We want to become doctors, sir.
04:10Doctors, not patients.
