Transcript
00:00So I want the people of Kashmir to know I stand with you and the injustice is happening.
00:30When you talked about Kashmir, and I want to make it very clear, what happened in Kashmir
00:53is the Indian government did a couple of things.
00:56They shut down telephones, they shut down cell phone communication, they blocked the
01:03media.
01:04Anywhere in the world, if the cell phones are being blocked, if telephones are being
01:10shut down, and if the media is not allowed to go there, I can assure you there's human
01:14rights violations going on.
01:17And so I want the people of Kashmir to know that as a new democratic leader, I stand with
01:22you in solidarity, that if there's any injustice against anyone, it's our values that we feel
01:28it's an injustice against us, and we stand with people, whoever is facing struggles.
01:34So I want the people of Kashmir to know I stand with you, and the injustice is happening,
01:38I stand against that injustice, and I denounce what India is doing to the people of Kashmir.
