00:05And so the whole purpose of this meeting is for him to help me figure out.

00:26And afterwards, the Indian press asked me, do I have any relatives in India?

00:34And I said, I'm not sure, but when I was elected as a 29-year-old kid in 1972,

00:45before I was sworn in, I got a letter from a person named Biden,

00:52his last name, in Mumbai, from Mumbai.

00:56And I said that I never was able to follow up.

01:01The next morning, I had a press conference going away,

01:05and the Indian press said, someone spoke up, you have five Bidens in India.

01:10And although I never admitted it, jokingly,

01:14that I found out that there was a Captain George Biden,

01:21who was a staff in an East Indian tea company.

01:23That's hard for an Irishman to admit.

01:25I shouldn't be so casual with you all.

01:27I hope you understand the humor here.

01:30And the end result was that I apparently stayed and married an Indian woman.

01:42And I've never been able to track it down.
