"Dear PM, help us get the jobs we were promised." A group of Kashmiri Pandits from Srinagar have been sitting on a “fast-unto-death” protest for two weeks, demanding jobs from the Centre. One of them relayed this message to the PM by speaking to Brut.

01:15We have multiple Honourable High Court orders, MHA approvals and recommendations that these 900 posts should be given to the non-migrants.
01:27But in the local administration, especially in DMRR, our file has been lying for the past 3 years.
01:34Whenever we go to those departments, there is lip assurance that it will be done today, it will be done after 10 days, it will be done day after tomorrow.
01:41But on ground zero, nothing is happening.
01:44Recently last month we met Hon. LJ Manoj Sinha ji, who is present here.
01:51He also gave us assurance, listened to our problems and assured us that we will solve your problems.
01:58But even after waiting for a month, when there was no solution, we were forced to sit on this fast and to death.

02:12But our bad luck or the failure of the administration is that for the past 6 days we have not been able to meet anyone.
