00:00Weddings are very real affairs and it's important to not make the bride and groom act, especially
00:28celebrities. Because that's what they do most of the time. So when you're actually
00:39having a real event or a real moment in life like your wedding day, you don't want to
00:43act. It then becomes my memory of your wedding. The idea should always be it should be your
00:47memory of your own wedding and we capture it beautifully. Which is why we never say
00:50we direct a wedding film, we always say we capture a wedding film. But weddings are intimate
01:03affairs and I think most people, not just celebrities, would want to keep it private.
01:07Nobody wants to be seen crying or being really intimate or showing their most vulnerable
01:11side to the whole world.
01:41There's a certain confidence they have in me and I'm also confident working with them
02:05because we've all worked together in the past. It allows us to also add skill and talent
02:09from the film industry into their wedding film. We accepted each other without judging
02:14each other, helped each other. You're not going into it blindfolded anymore. You know
02:20the mistakes you've made. So you know what you're not supposed to do. And you know what
02:26you've been missing all these years. The difficult part is keeping your mouth shut and keeping
02:33it a secret. The difficult part is also meeting the expectations of somebody who works in
02:37Bollywood because they're used to a certain kind of film. So when you're showing it to
02:41them, the final output in terms of colour, the way it looks, the way it's framed, the
02:45way it's sounded, the way it's all put together, should be professional so that they feel like
02:49they're watching a film and they're not watching a documentary made by somebody who doesn't
02:52understand what they're doing.
